New, clean, excellent breakfast. Front desk staff friendly and efficient. Really good experience.

"My Cousin Vinny" Active train yard operates during the middle of the night of the Holiday Inn Express.
Have you ever seen the movie My Cousin Vinny where Joe Pesci can't get any sleep because of a train? Well, had we known that the Holiday Inn Express sits right on top of the train yard that operates throughout the evening, we would have been chosen another location. Funny that the Holiday Inn Express left one pair of earplugs for our convenience. Another thing, the hotel doesn't have any water pressure probably like most of Seattle thinking that they're saving the planet but there should at least be enough water pressure so you don't have to dance around to get wet in the shower or to have to continually move your hands around to try to get your hands wet when you wash them. We left for an entire day doing sightseeing and events to come back in the evening only to find out that they never even touched our room to take out the trash and exchange the towels. I usually expect much more from the Holiday Inn Express. On the bright side, their complementary breakfast is pretty good.

Regarding the water pressure, I apologize for the inconvenience this caused during your stay. We are currently reviewing our plumbing systems to ensure they meet both environmental standards and guest comfort expectations.

We needed a hotel close to Muckleshoot Casino, since we were going to a concert there that wouldn’t be over until late.
This one fit the bill. It’s like new and service was good, though originally given a room that was closest to Hwy 18, even though we asked for quiet. They changed room to one much better, so all was good. The breakfast was luke warm and no green tea, but otherwise it had good selections. We will stay there again when going to another concert.

Stayed here for one night to catch a concert at the Muckleshoot.
The staff are so friendly! Not only the kitchen staff making the breakfast. They went out of thier way to ensure you enjoyed your meal.
The hotel is super clean with an equipped gym and pool.
Enjoyed my stay - only one qualm which has nothing to do with the hotel. There’s a set of train tracks near the building and the noise from the rail is quite loud.
Overall a pleasant stay.

Was a nice clean hotel. Had a lite breakfast so you don't leave on an empty stomach. Has items for sale in lobby store so you don't have to go out. We enjoyed our stay and convenient location to the city.
