Pleasant and friendly hotel
Hotel Goliath is a pleasant and friendly hotel. Checking in was quick and professional.
The breakfast was good and the service too!
The room was bright and nice and the bed very pleasant we immediately felt comfortable in this house.

Nice hotel in perfect location. Parking difficult, though, but the hotel can't help it. Everything actually fits, except the price-performance ratio. This is not a five-star hotel. For 200 € per night I expect more at breakfast. Crunchy rolls, no egg dishes, cheap sausage and cheese cuts. There's air up here.
Staff but absolutely friendly, helpful and attentive. Room was nice, bit small maybe, but bed was good.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Regensburg
We have been to this hotel several times and are always delighted. The stay is not entirely convenient, but you will not be disappointed for it. We arrived a little earlier and even got an upgrade as our actual room was not ready yet. That's a great service. The staff are all very friendly, the hotel very stylishly decorated and very clean. In the basement there is a sauna, perfect for the end of a day in the city. It is very quiet and you sleep wonderfully. What is great is that there is breakfast all day and so you do not have to rush. In the morning there is a buffet breakfast, after which breakfast is served on a storey. We were so around 10 o'clock at breakfast and there was already a lot going on at the buffet, e.g. there was no soft cheese left and the vegetables were already thinned out. You could certainly reorder that, but you would expect it differently in a hotel like this. The staff was very friendly and coffee was brought to the table very quickly. The hotel is very centrally located in the old town and all sights are within walking distance. We will definitely come back.

No way 5 stars standard
The location in the beautiful old town of Regensburg is a positive thing about this hotel. The staff is extremely friendly, our room was large and attractively appointed.
The bathroom was rather small with too little storage space. There was no vanity kit and on Feb. Even the liquid soap at the sink was empty by day one. After all, the toilet was separated from the rest of the bathroom.
The breakfast was below average, little choice, also qualitatively rather unambitious.
The gym is tiny, equipped with few and old equipment. There were neither towels nor water available.
The five stars for this hotel and the mostly very positive reviews we cannot understand.

Great hotel in Regensburg
Just enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Goliath am Dom. Located an easy 15 minute walk from the train stage and in a great location to visit all the major sites in Regensburg. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding and there are several excellent restaurants for dinner nearby. The spa was much enjoyed after a long day of sightseeing.
