غرفة فندق صغير للشباب في أمستردام

هذا بالضبط ما ينبغي أن تتوقعه من أي فندق صغير للشباب - أرباع صغيرة وأسرة منقوشة معدنية ولا تكييف هواء. واجهنا مشكلة تتعلق بأقفال بابنا، وكان مكتب الاستقبال غاية في الاستجابة والتعاون. الموقع مذهل والغرف كانت نظيفة للغاية. خيار اقتصادي رائع بشكل عام في أمستردام.

Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in a double /twin room for 3 nights, with a private bathroom. It was great for a hot shower and somewhere to sleep. The room was clean and we had new towels each day. There was some noise from outside but we were in the centre of Amsterdam so of course there was, but it didn't interfere with sleep. The rest of the hostel was great, a lively wee bar/ restaurant downstairs and within minutes walking distance to the trams but also with close-by bakeries and shops. The breakfast hall proved that people of all ages stayed there, it's not just for young backpackers.
The staff were great and the company doesn't take itself too seriously, which is refreshing. Would definitely stay again!

Ideal location and lively atmosphere, but some minor drawbacks.

I stayed with three friends in a room of 4 and, overall, we were very satisfied. The location of the hostel is just perfect: all the main attractions of the city are within easy walking distance in no time. The area is very safe, and along the same street there are bars and clubs, making the atmosphere really pleasant.
The only negatives are the size of the room, which was a bit narrow, especially regarding the bathroom, which was really small. Also, we had an annoying problem with mosquitoes, which bit us all night.
Despite these minor drawbacks, we would happily return, especially thanks to the excellent location!

The worst experience in 4 months of traveling through Europe

Reserve via booking. I arrived early and they asked me for my details and told me to come back at 2 pm for check-in. Upon my return, I was refused entry on the grounds that my age [46 years] meant I could not be in a shared room. I asked for a private room and they told me there was none available. I had to leave and look for another hostel... the mistreatment was absolute.

Great!

Great location, comfortable and safe.
I stayed 3 days and I was lucky because the girls who were in my room were quiet.
The only thing against is the door noise and the weak shower pressure. It needed a rug or something to help support the water.

Hans Brinker has additional terms for group bookings (Group bookings = 20 pax or more as well as all student, sports teams or event-based (bachelor party etc bookings). Please contact the hostel to confirm any such bookings as these will need to be agreed to before confirming the reservation. Maximum stay is 5 nights. This also applies to multiple reservations totalling more than 5 days. We cannot guarantee that beds booked under the same reservation will be in the same room. While we usually accommodate such requests, priority is given to guests who book entire dorms.
