Shuttle bus provided to and fro the Kyoto station, time table to be confirmed with hotel. Located near the famous street and temple. Very nice breakfast provided!

This hotel exceeded all expectations! The rooms are elegantly designed with plush bedding and modern amenities. Waking up to breathtaking city views was unforgettable. Impeccable service and attention to detail—truly a 5-star experience!

Back felt mattress by second day. As solo traveler I would have preferred desk or table and appropriate chair instead of low, far back leaning chairs with coffee table. Though I saw luggage stands throughout the hotel, there was none in my room. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was outstanding.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Gion and the finest on our second venture to Japan. The staff are superb, the food is delicious and the service is excellent. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and modern. After a long day out with two very young children we always looked forward to coming home. The bar is a gem and the the bar staff are equally wonderful. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

We are glad to know that you had positive thoughts about the staff, location, bar, and breakfast. Located in a quiet area surrounded by Japanese restaurants and Kennin-Ji temple and within a 10-to-15-minutes distance by wall to Kiyomizu-temple and Hanamikoji street, the location of the hotel is optimum for sightseeing and leisure. The bar provides Japanese whiskey and other beverages for everyone's enjoyment and relaxation. Andmore we are relieved that you had a relaxing time in the room and the public bath with a combination of tradition and modern design. For breakfast, skilled chefs are making breakfast hoping you may have a wonderful start of the day. Your words, “breakfast was delicious,” made us thrilled. We will keep seeing to improve our service from now on. We will be looking forward to seeing you again someday.
