Family stay
We visited here as a family before our long haul flight the next day. The hotel was great. We booked a family room and payed to upgrade to the mini bar. I couldn't fault a thing. Room, service, food in the restaurant... All great.
I would definitely choose here again if travelling from Manchester

Poor experience this time
We stayed at Holiday Inn Manchester Airport as we have stayed here before and thought it was fantastic. However, unfortunately, this occasion was not on the same scale. We had long dark brown hairs and black "crumbs" in both beds. My daughter has mousy brown long hair and I have short black black hair so definitely wasn't either of ours. The black "crumbs" looked like food of some kind?? Photos were taken within 15mins of us arriving. The restaurant experience was also lacklustre compared to a previous stay. Long time to be served, food served at different times to each other despite being ordered together and food being less heated than we expected. Would probably look at staying elsewhere in future. It's a shame as previous stay was fantastic

The check-in was quick and efficient. All of the staff I came into contact with were polite, professional and helpful.
The room was clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable.
The menu in the restaurant was varied. The meal I had was enjoyable and reasonably priced.
If you need a hotel room near Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Ideal choice for a pre-flight overnight close to Terminal 2.
PROS:
- Within easy walking distance of Terminal 2.
- Smooth and super friendly check-in and out.
- Great service and food at the Turkish restaurant (despite Brexshit) for dinner and breakfast.
- Good, clean bedroom and bathroom.
- Free stocked mini-bar in Premier rooms.
No major CONS. We would use again for a pre-fly overnight.
- Within easy walking distance of Terminal 2.

- Good, clean bedroom and bathroom.

Very good hotel
Stayed here on 27th August before a very early flight.
Can’t fault the hotel. Great location for terminal 2. Dinner in the restaurant was very good and reasonable prices. Room was fine and bed very comfy.
However I will not be using IHG again. Even though I had booked and paid for the hotel months in advance they kept emailing saying unless I booked a stay my points would expire.
I emailed several times saying I have just booked but they never responded. Very poor service. I’ll go back to using the Hilton.
