Excellent site near Plombieres les Bains
The toilet block is cleaned regularly and a big plus is that the showers are temperature adjustable with very hot water. Both toilet blocks are enclosed as the site is open all year with hard standings for caravans and Motorhomes if the weather is poor.
We ate in the restaurant which had a daily special - the ham hock joint had been de boned and was delicious, as was the home made mirabelle tart. We observed many campers eating there, so our recommendation is supported by the footfall.
Out of the main season you pitch yourself and visit the office in the evening.
We highly recommend this site.
Plombieres is a magnet for lovers of brocante, with many shops and a regular Sunday flea market. There is no bakers, the nearest decent food shopping is in la Val d’Ajol.

Welcoming cozy and calm campsite
A nice area for hiking and motorbike riding. The owners are very welcoming and easy to communicate with, even though we speak little French, English and German are also spoken. We had a lot of rain but decided to stay an extra week because we felt so comfortable.
