Exceptional & Secure Location
This hotel is safely situated in Zone G & within walking distance of many local restaurantes etc.
It is in the Embassy District & within walking distance of local centro commercial & Carulla grocery as well.
Free Continental Bfast & Happy Hour make this an exceptional & economic location as well.
Excellent & attentive staff throughout the hotel!!!
Have stayed many times & always very satisfied & felt at HOME!!!
Americans welcomed & English spoken by many of the warm staff personel when needed.
Very international & cross cultural & safe for families &
single travelers alike.

Best all-around hotel I've stayed at in a long time! Well located (equal distance to all the neighbourhoods we wanted to visit). Room was very comfortable, with all amenities there. Breakfast was great (and extensive) and happy hour was a nice addition. Would definitely stay again while in Bogota!

MY Best Hotel Stay Since 2000 Covering Three Continents
I have stayed at Hilton hotels, and Embassy Suites in particular, on three continents since I first started traveling for work in 2000. This Embassy Suites in Bogota, Colombia is the absolute best of any hotel experience I have ever had, anywhere. I have not stayed at all the hotels in the world so I can't compare to all the hotels in the world.
My wife is an artist in the music industry and our week-long schedule was incredibly busy. The food, the room, the service, the attention to detail was beyond expectation. There was a safe in the room, the noise from the street at night was not nearly as bad as some of the hotels we've stayed in that were closer to nightclubs. Most of the staff that interacts with customers speak some level of English. I do not know more languages other than Spanish.
The costs were a little higher than typical in Bogota, but so well worth the high level of service, food and drink provided.
Finally, the buffet AND made to order breakfast, and the manager's reception with open bar and amazing happy hour style buffet included with the restaurant pushed this rating over the top.
I can not think of any reason to stay anywhere else in Bogota the next time I am there. Thanks to all the staff I met and got to know.

Excellent hotel in perfect location
This hotel is excellent: everything was clean, beautiful, well maintained (unlike some other Embassy Suites I've stayed in the past). One day I had a problem with the shower (maintenance issue). I reported it to the front desk and they immediately assigned someone to fix it and got fixed quickly. Rooms are clean, spacious, and smell good. Breakfast was excellent, varied and its staff is very nice and helpful.
I especially liked the happy hour (daily from 5:30pm to 7:30pm): you get unlimited free drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and several hot snacks.
But the best thing about the hotel is its location. The location is literally perfect, in the middle of Zona G in Chapinero Alto. This is the best area of Bogotá, better than noisy Zona T/Zona Rosa. Plenty of good restaurants very near the hotel, and a 24-hour pharmacy (Farmatodo) at the end of the street in Carrera 5. Area is upscale, clean and feels safer than other areas of Bogotá. You can get anywhere from here via Uber (Uber is very cheap in Bogotá).
The only things I think the hotel could improve are the elevator (they are a bit small, but no big deal), and the AC could be a little stronger. But those are minor issues.
I will stay here again when I return to Bogotá.
