Satisfactory Hosting

Excellent hotel, a wonderful receptivity, all staff very helpful and attentive.
Breakfast with lots of diversity and the girls of the kitchen, very careful and polite.
Location near the park (15 minutes walk).

Fantastic Hotel with Fantastic Staff!!

My Girlfriend and I traveled to Fortaleza for the World Cup and had a great stay at Kalamari. The hotel is located 1 block from the beach and is 20 mins outside of Fortaleza. The owners and staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The rooms are clean, have a shower and A/C. They provide a great breakfast spread with coffee/tea, fresh fruit, eggs, breads, cheeses etc. We found that staying outside of Fortaleza was more relaxing and less of a scene. I highly recommend taking a 20 min drive to Prainha. There you will find handmade lace and fresh fish cooked right on the beach. Hotel Kalamari and the friends we met there made our trip to the World Cup memorably and unique.

Our stay at the Kalamari in Aquiraz

My wife and I stayed at this very nice 'family run' hotel for almost 2 weeks. It is located about a 2 min. walk from the beach(which we could see from our 2nd. floor room with balcony). It has clean rooms, very good AC, exc. hot shower and a nice pool in a beautiful garden setting.
The hosts, Waldy and Valeska were very friendly and accomodating, as were all the staff members. A typical nice Brasilian hotel breakfast is inluded, as is free taxi service to close by restaurants(to and from).
The famous Beach Park (Water Park) is within a nice 15 min. walk, just down the beach.
The location is in a newer area filled with hotels and many many condos.
We were truly treated more like friends than guests at a hotel.

For us it was also very important you stay in Kalamari Hotel. And I have to agree with you: we try to treat our guests as friends, because this is our mission, greet them at best. We are available to you, and thank you for your kind words.

What a wonderful stay in this family operated hotel!

Waldy and Valeska are great hosts. The staff is accomodating and friendly. This is a welcoming destination complete with home cooked meals and an intimate atmosphere.The front desk looked after all my requests with courtesy and promptness.
The Kalamari is just one block from some of the most beautifull beach in the world. I can see the beach from my ground floor room balconey. The rooms are clean comfortable, with quiet and excellent air conditioning. The pool is clean and the courtyard well appointed. Local bars and eateries are within walking distance. This hotel is comfortable and an excellent choice for a relaxing holiday 'away from it all'. Transportation to a local Beach Bar is provided for a sampling of local food and beach fun! Great time!
