Success!!
We were getting to know Sóller, which was spectacular, and we decided to have lunch at the port of Sóller.
We were here having lunch and it was really delicious; very good food accompanied by great views and very good service, without a doubt highly recommended.

One Star Experiences, at Four Star Prices.
I would definitely not advise anyone to stay at this hotel. On a positive note, its location is great, the staff are very friendly, and the breakfast buffet was extensive, if somewhat repetitive. On to the negative aspects. The pool is not attached to the main hotel, which means one has to walk up the street to access the pool through the hotel annex. Our room was minuscule, with inadequate storage, particularly for hanging clothes. It was impossible to hang dresses at all, without them sweeping along the shelf underneath the rail. The bedside light fittings were both broken. The walls and furnishings were spartan, scuffed, and worn. There were power cuts almost every day. The duvet cover was stained with what looked like body fluids. The shower door didn’t fit properly, so every time we had a shower, no matter how careful we tried to be, the whole bathroom floor flooded. There was an infestation of silverfish insects in the bathroom. Our balcony looked out onto a big wall, which also seemed to be a bit of a building site, (see attached photos). There was no seat in the room, and no desk or dressing table. The final straw came when a large cockroach appeared out of a crack in the wall, and scuttled over my shoe, before disappearing back into the wall crack again.
Reception's solution to this, was to give us a can of insecticide.
We couldn’t handle any more, so we lost the money on our last three nights in the hotel, and also lost our return flight money, but it was worth it, to purchase two last minute flights to get us home, and away from the horrors of this so-called four star hotel. To add insult to injury, we asked reception to book our taxi to the airport. I was very careful to ask them to book the taxi to pick us up first in Port de Sóller, followed by our friends in Sóller, (as by chance, the friends were going to the airport at the same time). The person at reception screwed this up completely, and ordered the taxi to go to Sóller first. In the ensuing chaos, our taxi ended up picking us up very late. Fortunately we made our flight, (no thanks to the hotel receptionist), but we had to pay the taxi company an extra €20, to cover the misdirection of the taxi.
I would never darken the door of this hotel again.

Overrated
This should be a great hotel but its average , the reception staff are excellent, but the bar staff are miserable never smile don’t communicate it’s like they are doing you favour , and give incredibly slow service .and give better service to people walking in off the street for a drink , rather than the hotel guests, there are no outside seating areas, the guest lounge was to cold with air conditioning at maximum
The breakfast is fine , the omelette lady was very friendly but , almost exactly the same each day , it can’t possibly be a 4 star hotel ,. The pool is ok but its a long walk to another building , the hotel corridors upstairs look like an outdated industrial unit ,with worn carpets , I would not stay there again . If it wasn’t for the great view and location, this hotel would never succeed

Absolutely loved our stay
We were very happy with our choice choosing this hotel. The staff are so friendly. The breakfast was very good. Lots of choice. Our suite was spacious and clean - not a view though
The bar, terrace and breakfast room were all lovely
The hallways need painting and new carpets - outdated. Don't match the rest of the hotel
We would 100% return. The location is fantastic. Lovely cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarkets less than 5 minutes away

Lovely seafood, cosy place
Nice atmosphere, good service and lovely seafood. I had 'Seafood spaghetti' which was really delicious. Eat here again.
