One of the nicest places we stayed in Portugal

We booked online with short notice and the owners replied right away. They gave good directions and met us when we arrived. The rooms were very nice, roomy and comfortable. They had a new air conditioner that when operating we could hardly hear. The breakfast was ham and cheese with juice and milk (places in the frig) and in the morning they delivered fresh baked and still warm bread.
Casas no Terreiro looked like it was newly rebuilt/remodeled and as a builder I can verify that they used only first class materials in the construction and first quality plumbing and appliances.
We liked it so much we stayed 1 extra day and would have liked to stay longer but were committed at another location.

Stay here if you want to be shouted at and eat bread for breakfast.

Poor breakfast in quality and quantity. The worst i have had.
After the rude reception and handing over £75 (some are almost £100) to two miserable (rude woman) people, i was feeling slightly frustrated.
NO Kettle.
NO international T.V
NO washing machine.
NO heating
NO directions on SATNAV

Un peu loin de la ville. La route est très sinueuse mais la vue est très belle lorsque nous sommes arrivés. La piscine est très pratique avec parasols. Les déjeuners sont complets et copieux avec une super bonne chocolatine à tomber à terre. Service excellent et accueillant. Il n'y a pas d'options de restaurants près de l'hébergement sinon à 10-15 minutes. Par contre, la cuisine est complète et très pratique.

Boas casas

Como fomos um grupo grande ficamos em 3 casas, pena não serem juntas. As casas são boas e confortáveis. O espaço exterior é muito fraco, uma piscina muito pequena. Uma máquina de bebidas quentes que só dá café, ficando com as moedas que se colocaram para as outras bebidas. Mas a principal falha foi a ausência de alguém responsável pelo local. O proprietário, não foi de todo prestável nem amável, aparecendo apenas para receber e para ver no final da estadia se estava tudo nos sítios.
