Delightful place in the country

Very conveniently situated a 3-minute drive from Trieste Airport/train station and a taxi fare to the accommodation costs around 12-15 euro. The train journey in to Venice train station takes about 90 minutes
We stayed here for one night before getting the train from Trieste airport to travel to Venice to catch our flight back home,
The accommodation is a three-bedroom building situated a short distance from the working farm that breeds delightful horses.
We were met by a lady who informed us that the person from the farm would arrive shortly.
Danelle did indeed arrive in a few minutes and was very friendly and helpful.
The accommodation is excellent - our room - the Halinger was very spacious with a huge en-suite, great lighting and a very comfortable bed.
We opted to have a light breakfast as we needed to leave early for the train journey. Danelle left juice water yogurt and croissants and there are also tea and coffee-making facilities in the hallway.
You do have the option of a more substantial breakfast at the farmhouse.
This accommodation is just a very short distance from the road with ample car parking facilities on site.
We would have liked to have longer to stay to have a walk around and see the beautiful horses.

Please avoid this place!

I had a horrible experience here. The place is very isolated, in the middle of nowhere, and you will be staying alone in the entire house! Very dangerous for foreigners and unsafe. Its not a real hotel but someone's empty side house.

Visitare gli animali ok! Mangiare? Meglio in autogrill!

Siamo stati con i bambini per pranzare e il menu’ era povero caro e sinceramente tutto non all altezza. Bambini digiuni visto che non c erano pietanze adatte a loro adulti idem poiche c erano pietanze basiche ma non cucinate bene e invasi da mosche dappertutto …. Dispiace x il posto molto carino e a contatto con la natura ma la ristorazione per me e un altra cosa!

Accoglienza vergognosa

Ho inviato una persona che è arrivata col treno di sera. Pur avendo avvisato dell'orario non ha trovato nessuno ad accoglierla. Buio totale e portone chiuso. Se avesse avuto il telefono scarico sarebbe rimasta fuori. Ha chiamato e le hanno dato il codice per aprire ed indicazioni per accedere. NON SI Fa così.
Il posto è fuori mano, senza auto non si può neppure andare a mangiare, anche perché non c'era un cane eventualmente a dare indicazioni.
Vergognoso.
