Nothing is ever rushed
Everything is deliberate & guests focus.
Can’t get any better than that for me.
Probably be my go to hotel in Batam

Room reeked of mould odour and the place was filled with stains. Look at the photos of the basin and bath tub.
The carpet probably contributed to most of the musty smell. You should really remove carpets in locations that are high in humidity. It is not sensible at all to continue using those ancient carpets.
The spa inside the hotel was the worst we’ve experienced at that price point. Avoid at all cost.
So if you only need the hotel for sleep at night and don’t plan to spend any time inside the hotel, it’s fine for the location. But if you want a decent stay, avoid this place.
Also, the employees at the front desks lack proactively in correcting problems experienced by customers. Their English is fine but their service attitude is poor.

There are Hidden Passages to Shopping and Food Paradises
The room is huge for the price I’m paying but maybe that is the current standard for Batam as it was more than 30 years since I last set foot on this island. Maybe it’s the orangy light plus that large comfy armchair with the leg rest. It makes you just want to laze in the room for the whole weekend and not go out into to hot equatorial sun. The work table is luxurious to work on and the little pantry corner have all I need - bottled water, kettle and cups with a daily supply of a round of coffee and tea for 2 person.
The only complain I have is the bathroom. The design was not well thought of and the whole toilet gets flooded after a shower.
I booked for a balcony room but the balcony is quite useless. It’s the first room from the lift lobby (Room 312). Half the view was blocked by the swimming pool and there’s only one chair in the balcony for the couple staying in the room. The balcony wall is too high for anyone who want to sit in the balcony, no view other than the passing clouds and the dying bushes at the edge of the pool. No feel of privacy also with the pool just a leap away. The only good I can think of for this room will be the Spa and the Swimming Pool is less than 20 pace from the room door. I will not spend money on a balcony room if I ever come here again.
The hotel is quite well located. In the backyard, there is a side entrance which you can access with the keycard to get to the Thamrin Food Market and other food outlets. There also a gate at another corner where you can walk to the Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall, barely 5 mins away.
