Just perfect

It was perfect. We had such a friendly welcome and the cabin was spotless. Comfortable bed and all we needed. Good standard. Easy access after hours. Chinese take away and pub in walking distance. Great value and good location.

Worst Room Yet

We booked a room which was advertised as 8 person, with 2 double beds and two bunk beds with 3 rooms but got one bunk bed and 2 rooms. When this was pointed out I was brushed off by reception and no explanation or apology. The cabin was old, small and had a bad odour. The front screen door kept getting stuck which could have been a concern in an emergency. The TV sound was distorted and therefore couldn’t be used. The aircon-heater was an old wall banger and too noisy to leave on during sleeping which left us freezing during the night as it was very cold weather. A very unpleasant experience for an unreasonably priced cabin. Spend some money and do your maintenance for goodness sake. You are clearly making plenty.

Hi Wayne. We are sorry that your stay was unpleasant. We in fact did try and help you however we definitely do not have any rooms that sleep 8 nor are they advertised as sleeping 8. At all times you were rude and rejected any of our staffs' suggestions to make your stay better for you. We wish you all the best in your travels.

Charged my account without permission 3 weeks after stay!

3 weeks after camping at this caravan my card was incorrectly charged $250.
I rang the tourist park immediately about the charge.
They advised the charge was my outstanding balance. I let them know I paid cash on arrival.
They then asked for a receipt, which was long gone if I was given one, and I was told that I did not have proof I had paid so therefore they wouldn't be returning the money.
I'm so disgusted in the way this was handled. They didn't consider for a minute they had made a mistake.
So many discrepancies and they didn't care, for instance:
- Normal procedure is to pay balance on check in
- Why wasn't it discussed during my stay?
- They had already deleted their video footage because it 'had been too long'
- No warning or chance given to discuss an outstanding balance, no phone call, no email

Noisy, cramped, dirty-bins full and overflowing-NEVER AGAIN SHAME ON YOU

Noisy, cramped, dirty-bins full and overflowing-NEVER AGAIN SHAME ON YOU -
Terrible place. It is right on the highway and the van sites are so close together, you can hardly move. bindi prickles everywhere had to cut out of my little dog every time we took her for a walk. The bathrooms were dirty and not cleaned when they said they would be- to add to entrance to toilet was blocked with a small van, had to try walk around them .. There was toothpaste in the sinks and mud on the floors. Big, kids play area in the middle of everything, big bin on verge overflowing with Debree-what a eye saw was supposed to have a view -blocked that. The whole site was dirty and not once cleaned-we had to blow our area down at least twice a day. and the trampolines are open till 9pm! Care factor zero by the reception.
