Good value. location ideal for walk to castle

Great hotel with thoughtful touches throughout. Good breakfast for 4 JOD, with nice hummus and cheese. The room (202) was a twin, big enough for two but bathroom was quite cramped. Road noise from about 6am, but overall a good place to stay.
The owner arranged onward taxi travel for us too.

Racist and atavistic

Have you ever felt that you are being shameful, because you and your female friend sitting with your male colleague in your room? Well that what happened to us ? We are a group of of male and female colleagues. We needed to work and we needed privacy in our meeting because we worked with a sensitive group in Karak. The owner of the hotel (who seemed so nice and hospitable) knocked at the door. He asked us our male colleague to leave the room because it’s not allowed by law ! And after we argued with him, he showed his true colours: even if it’s not allowed, as the owner of the hotel you have to leave now. I refuse this bigotry in my hotel. Hahaha bigotry! He thinks we live in Amman and we are forbidden from this. Please know that we are Jordanians, and we often work around Jordan and we always hang out with our male colleagues in different hotels and different star ratings; no one has ever said this to us and made us feel this way. So regardless of how good and clean is the hotel ( with the worse disgusting bathrooms to be honest) it is by far the worse experience I have ever been in my life and please, I travel in Jordan a lot for a long time so I know what I am saying. I don’t advice anyone stay in this this hotel. Because you will be judged by your sex! Terrible sexist and racist hotel. God help the women staff here.

Beward!

when we arrive we were conduct to a basement room, with view on a dumping ground, and a very bad smell of fuel.
The room did not meet the description : no AC, no sockets, small and uncomfortable.
When we ask a room meeting the description the owner ask for a supplement of 50%.
after 1 hour of negociation we commit at "only" 25% supplement.
The room get was better but far from other "same price" hotel.
Wet met in the city, other tourist who had the same problem with this hotel.
Cherry on the top, the Wifi is so weak, you cannot even look for another place to stay!
note : don't try to climb on the parking if don't have a 4WD!

Nice hotel

The hotel is located in opposite hill from Kerak castle and is in part of town which is more "alive" at night. It is close to viewpoint to Kerak castle (be prepared for steep streets).
It has it's own small parking lot covered by a camera, so I was not afraid to leave rented car there. Hotel inside is nicely and uniquely designed and stairs to second floor are main piece at reception desk. The room was simple, but nice and comfortable. Shower had hot water but the room was quite cold. Bedroom had it's own heater, so we were fine there.
