A luxurious retreat

Had a few days here with my daughter, it's a gorgeous property that excels in all aspects, providing a luxurious retreat in the west of the island, among the golf resorts. For those that like to explore, complimentary shuttles on request take you to the nearby bays and harbour. And the brand new spa is AMAZING. Although the property gives the impression of being larger, because of spacious outdoor and indoor spaces, there are 79 bedrooms, with plentiful outdoor dining and bar spaces, among the beautifully landscaped gardens and pool areas. Each room from entry level is spacious and well-designed, a particular highlight that each room opens onto large private terrace overlooking the gorgeous surrounding grounds, with a separate access to the terrace from the large open rain shower!

Nothing special - better options available

Unfortunately, the hotel is mediocre at best. Returned here for the second time, this time as we are attending a wedding nearby. Would have preferred Hotel Son Claret, but this was fully booked for a private function. First of all, the hotel is located pretty much in the middle of nowwhere (i.e. not much around, no nice views, 30 km/h-zone for longtime to get there) but that‘s also the fault of the location of the wedding… However, what really upset me, was the fact that we were initially given a room with a horrible view, which was also on the small side, despite having initially requested and been confirmed a room facing the golf driving range. This was finally rectified after we insisted. However, the hotel also managed to forget our restaurant reservation for our only freely available evening (and could not satisfactorily resolve the matter). Also, upon returning to the room, we noticed that apparently there is no turn-down service at night, i.e. curtains not closed, no slippers next to the bed, used glasses still in the room… - quite appaling for a 5 star hotel. All things considered, it is highly inlikely that we will ever stay again at the Kimpton Aysla Mallorca.

Outstanding hotel with extremely good guest experience

We stayed at Kimpton Aysla for the third time and love the place. From the food to the rooms, the extremely well-equipped gym (I've rarely seen anything like this) to the pool area, the bar and all the other public areas - it's all really outstandingly good. A big thank you goes to the whole team, which is super professional. And Junie from the Guest Experience team made the stay just perfect for us with her customer-oriented and attentive nature. Thank you!

Wonderful hotel, wonderful relaxing stay!

The hotel is spacious and architecturally interesting with beautifully laid out gardens. There are 3 pools ( 2 exterior and 1 heated indoor) , several restaurants, bars and a wellness center ( spa, gym ). The room we had was large with a private garden area and lounge chairs. The entire hotel has a peaceful relaxing atmosphere.
This hotel is labeled « Grand Lux » and this is particularly evident in the wonderful welcome you receive when you arrive- as well as all through your stay. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly- nothing is too much trouble.
We loved our stay at this hotel and will definitely be going back !

Tucked away oasis

We highly recommend this hotel. Service and beach / dinner recommendations they gave us were spot on. Beautiful decor and gardens. The hotel is tucked away, but not too far a drive to city centre in Palma (although we were quite surprised by the highways). Dinner at the hotel was excellent, and breakfast every morning superb. Thanks for a lovely stay.
