After checking in and entering the room, there was a shampoo that someone had used on the table. When I asked for the luggage storage service, the staff said it was free for up to 2 days and would be charged from the 3rd day. When I went to pick up my luggage 2 days after leaving it, the staff said that even that would be charged if there were no additional room reservations. His voice was very forceful, but my brain sensed it as barking and did not command my body to take any action.

This is an unreasonable guest. Any hotel in business needs to earn money. The hotel can only keep luggage for free for guests (who do not stay) during the day, but for guests who will continue to stay with us and have booked a room at our hotel, we will keep the luggage for free for the first 3 days and will charge for the following days.
Guests who do not book a room and do not stay anymore, so where can we keep luggage for free for these guests.
And when this guest sent his luggage, he did not clearly state whether he would return to continue staying or not, he simply said he sent his luggage and we thought that if the guest decided to send his luggage back, he would definitely stay again. This guest is actually an unreasonable person.
But then we didn't charge him for luggage storage, because we thought we didn't mention the sentence: "FREE LUGGAGE STORAGE FOR THE FIRST 3 DAYS FOR GUESTS WHO WILL RETURN TO STAY."

Pretty Decent room for the price, there are a lot of dining options in the area and its pretty central to everything.

Friendly and helpful front desk. Clean room. central location, walking distance to Ben Thanh market. Many choices of local foods nearby.

Nice hotel at a pretty central location (15-20 minutes walk to walking street or market). There are plenty of cafes, massage parlours and convenience stores on the street.
Rooms are spacious, the shower takes a while to warm up. They're quite clean, but could use a little freshening.
Service is very courteous.
The hotel also offers a laundry service at a reasonable price.
All in all, a budget hotel which offers some privacy and rudimentary services.
Area around the hotel was going through renovation, but it didn't bother us (noise didn't come through the window). Some of the massage parlors are dodgy and offer 'extra services'.
We received early check in at around 11:30 with no extra cost, a thing which we truly appreciated. We also received late check out. These little extra bonuses make staying here worthwhile.
There's an elevator and concierge services.
