5⭐️ Venue, Staff and Location!
This was our 4th year hosting our retreat with Rest Yourself Ranch! The hospitality is always top-notch, the setting is peaceful, and the accommodations are perfect for our group! If you're looking for a beautiful, stress-free retreat location, this is it! Highly recommend and can’t wait to return to return for our 2025 retreat!

Unforgettable Family Getaway
Our stay at Rest Yourself River Ranch was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views of the property. Whether it was the peaceful river, open fields, or stunning sunsets, every part of the ranch felt like a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
One of the biggest highlights for our family was the endless activities for the kids. Between the outdoor games, hiking trails, and wide-open spaces to explore, our little ones were entertained from morning until night. We were amazed that they went days without even asking for their electronics—a true testament to how much fun they were having!
The game room was another major hit. It had something for everyone, from our 5-year-old to the adults in our group. Whether it was arcade games, board games, or just a space to relax and unwind, it became a favorite gathering spot for all of us.
Evenings were magical thanks to the fire pit, where we gathered every night to make s’mores, tell stories, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It was such a special way to wind down after a full day of adventure.
One unexpected bonus was having The Mineral Wells Fossil Park just around the corner. The kids had an absolute blast searching for fossils and learning about the history of the area—it was both fun and educational!
We also loved how close the ranch was to downtown Mineral Wells. During our visit, we stopped by the Crazy Water Company to sample the famous mineral water, and we spent an afternoon at a DIY art studio, where the kids had a great time painting ceramics.
Overall, Rest Yourself River Ranch was the perfect getaway for our family. It provided the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and quality time together. We can’t wait to come back!

Successful Corporate Retreat - Beautiful Property and Unmatched Hospitality!
Our team had a wonderful corporate retreat at the Rest Yourself River Ranch last week. Bridget, Lori, and the hospitality team are outstanding and made sure we had everything we needed when we needed/wanted it! They went above and beyond to make sure our event went smoothly, accommodating special requests (breakfast burritos to go with all the fixins, moving cornhole inside due to weather) as our schedule demanded. The food was delicious (breakfast, lunch, mid-afternoon snacks, and dinner), and the team enjoyed the Game Room activities and the gorgeous views of the Brazos River - as well as getting to walk down the path to the river and marveling over the wildlife. We also enjoyed Bridget sharing the colorful history of the Ranch and Foundation before our dinner as an added delight. Thank you for a successful and memorable retreat!

Amazing!
The place is absolutely gorgeous! You definitely feel at home and at peace when you are there visiting. Everything is clean and beautiful! I would definitely recommend if you are wanting to get away and just relax for a few days!!! Also it is just right here close by but once you are there you feel as if you are far from the city!

What an amazing experience at this historic hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. The bedding was pure luxury—so comfortable and inviting.
Don't let the 2-star rating fool you—this is a 5-star stay in every way. The only reason for the rating is due to amenities, as the hotel doesn’t have an on-site restaurant or bar, which impacts industry classifications. However, the hospitality is absolutely world-class.
This is truly a hidden gem, and I can't recommend it enough!
