Great value for money

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 week stay here. The location is excellent, easy to find and near to many shops and restaurants. There are beautiful tropical gardens surrounding the two pools. The excellent breakfast is in the garden near the larger pool, this is a great bonus and makes this hotel probably the best value in Naples! The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. As other people have said the rooms are a little tired but not a problem for us.

Do NOT stay here!

Possibly the most disengaged, charmless guy checked us in. No welcome or enjoy your stay going to waste from his lips.
We’d paid extra for a suite as the photos online looked lovely.
Don’t be fooled by photos, our suite was nothing like them and was absolutely filthy. Dirty, ripped carpets, ripped, tired furniture and a dirty, mouldy bathroom.
We rang the front desk to ask to be moved and got through to Mr Charmless himself. When I mentioned the dirty carpets he announced that all suites had carpets. I told him that we weren’t adverse to carpets as long as they were clean. When I was talking to him I noticed that the room telephone was also filthy and sticky.
He said he’d move us to another room and someone would bring a key. No apology whatsoever.
When the guy arrived with the key, I wanted to show him why we’d complained but either he couldn’t understand or couldn’t care.
The second room wasn’t much better but at least the carpet looked like it had been hoovered.
We’ve stayed in a wide range of accommodation across America and previously Best Westerns but this place is the absolute worst.
Thankfully it’s just for one night.
We’ve noticed that all comments are answered, promising feedback to staff and learning to take forward. This is obviously just some utter rubbish spouted by someone who doesn’t actually give a stuff.

Mini staycation

I have been coming to this hotel for almost 20 years. This will be that last time going there. The hotel needs a make over. Location to beaches, downtown Naples and mall extremely convenient. They have rental bikes and a shuttle to the beach. That’s a super duper plus.

A genuine disappointment. The images displayed by the hotel show clean, modern rooms. These seem to exist (somewhere on the premises), but most of the rooms appear to be untouched (i.e. not renovated) since the 80s...there was a thick smell of mold in the room, possibly from the AC vent which was clogged with some dark stuff, or it could be from the dirty floor. The paint in the ceiling had large cracks and spots, probably from moisture seeping in from somewhere. Unidentified bugs in the kitchen area, thick layers of dust in the corners etc. The breakfast experience (breakfast served at the pool area) was a bit better than the room, but marginally so...poor service and bad food. This hotel needs a total makeover.

Very disappointing!

This hotel needs a serious renovation. The carpets are stained and dirty. The furniture is old. The rooms are dark. Ceilings and walls are stained. Screen to the patio had multiple holes. The sink did not drain. Bathroom was old and moldy. We had a suite so we could use the pull out couch but the mattress was dirty and stained and the couch had rips and tears. Breakfast was simple and unappealing. The grounds are overgrown and need TLC. The location is good and close to the beach but the rooms were very disappointing. There are so many other hotels in the area. Stay away from this one.
