As a solo female traveler - DO NOT COME. SO SUS. The courtyard is nice, but I was in the smoking section and another guest was visibly tweaking and smoking something out of a pipe that was sweet smelling (that’s not a cigarette or mary j to be clear!). Nothing was done and he was on the property all day and when I ran out of there at 7:30 am. They provide you sheets to make your own bed, and text you to let you know when your bunk is ready. I dropped my stuff off and stupidly didn’t check until I went to bed around 11pm. They hadn’t removed the previous dirty used linens and the persons drink was there. The bed was covered in crumbs and other stuff I don’t even know. So so sleeved out. Also, slightly unusual for a hostel and made me personally uncomfortable as a visibly solo female - there was a large proportion of men 50+ in the rooms, some young people but definitely mostly older men.

its a homeless shelter not a hostel, that is how I would sum up my stay 😂 really dont go there this is one of the worst hostel experiences and ironically for the highest price

I haven’t been in a hostel in a long time. This one made me sad… where are the young travelers? This hostel looks more like a shelter for people in need. I was just there to sleep and didn’t use other facilities. Bathroom and shower look durty.

The hostel is in a significant state of disrepair, with broken facilities and a general lack of upkeep. It’s clear the owners are indifferent to maintaining the property or ensuring a comfortable stay for guests. Most of the occupants seem to be long-term residents, which further detracts from the atmosphere typically expected of a hostel. Overall, it feels neglected and far from welcoming. The owner could put in very little money and or clean the property and get a lot out of it.
e.g. the vent fan cover was just off and sitting on the floor and was like that for two days. But had been there a while. Flaking paint. Mold stains in the showers. Lights not changed etc.
