Lovely, friendly hotel.
Just back from a wonderful, relaxing week at Hotel Splendid.
While not the most modern hotel, it is in a great location, has fantastic views, the staff were wonderful & the hotel was spotless.
The service was excellent & all the staff very helpful.
We enjoyed the buffet breakfast, there was lots of choice, and sampling the regional food in the evenings.
The beach area gets lots of sun & is quite sheltered.
You also have stunning views of the sunsets.
The bus to the old city stops right outside the hotel & it's a short walk into Lapad.
We loved walking along the beach & then along the Lapad promenade.
There isn't a lift, so if stairs aren't for you it might not be the best place for you, but having said that if you struggle with steps & hills the whole area may not suit.
We were on the 3rd floor & didn't find it a problem.

Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, great location
Great hotel, very clean, helpful staff, great views pay for a sea view room, room has hairdryer, breakfast is continental , evening meal wasn’t for us, depends what you like , plenty of bars and restaurants within 5 min walk, you can drink the local water so take an empty water bottle and fill up, local bus easy to use get on number 4, 50 metres down the road from hotel it will take you to old town, Ubers are cheaper than local taxis, plan your trips on the daily weather forecast, if it’s windy the cable car, and stuff at top of the hill are closed and some of the boat trip ls island hopping are too. Worth paying for the game of thrones tour if you’re a fan, we found the big scene spots ourselves but the tour guide told us all sorts.
The Dubrovnik pass is worth buying 3 day 50 euros and includes local buses, and some sites including the wall which on its own is 40 euro. Do the wall first thing before it gets hot and the cruise ships arrive . Food and drink twice the price inside the old town, in comparison to local supermarkets and bakery,

Beautiful location
Great swimming in front of hotel and really easy to walk the promenade into town and all the restaurants. Our room had a lovely balcony with a beautiful view. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the cleaning staff was so quick with our room. My only complaint would be that the air conditioner barely worked. Yes, it was better than outside, but if we had came when it was hotter, instead of beginning of June, I don’t think it would have been comfortable. But our friends and family we did have three rooms, and one of the rooms it worked great in. Breakfast had a nice selection and a gorgeous patio to eat on. # 4 bus stopped right in front of hotel and was 2.50 euro for one trip and took about 10 minutes to get into old town.

Very lovely hotel! The room was big enough with an balcony and a sea view!
The staff were amazing!
The breakfast buffet had a very good selection and quality food!
We had one dinner aswell, also buffet style and you had alot of options!
The bus no. 4 stops right in front of the hotel and drops you right at the Pile gate in Old Town after 15-20 minutes.

Lovely stay + even better views
Lovely stay for our 1 year wedding anniversary, arrived to champagne and fresh flowers to celebrate which was such a lovely touch! Hotel is very clean, cleaners come every morning to freshen up rooms. The staff are all so polite and friendly massive shout to Zohan he was amazing so happy and friendly everyday great member of your team!
The hotel itself is a little outdated but the views and the grounds make up for it! 100% - had aircon and free wifi and access to the beach perfect stay thank you
