Cheap and cheerful which was just what we needed after a long day of travelling. It was quiet despite being so close to the motorway. There were some snacks available to buy but we ate in the services instead.

Really nice place to stay before we fly off from Stansted,it’s always clean and bedding nice and fresh,nothing fancy but it suits us.

Room very clean. It was very basic with poor chairs and no table.One of the chairs had been very badly repaired. There was plenty of room for a small table. The bathroom toilet roll holder kept falling apart. Towels are very thin and poor quality. Curtains marked and wouldn't close properly. Would not stay here again

The only reason for my low score is the was bed had springs sticking out and my husband and I had a terrible nights sleep, but we couldn’t fault the staff.

Reception staff was on the phone talking all the while during check in ,talking to us in between, no personal touch.
