Amazing

Amazing hostel with perfect location and super friendly staff and atmosphere. It located next to galata tower full of cafe and shops and easy access to Istiklal st. Easy access to public transportation by metro and tramway. Cleanliness is good. Small kitchen that you can prepare your foor or breakfast and fabulous rooftop with jaw-locking view.

Not recommended

Not the best experience, the room had a bad smell and a lot of humidity. The bedroom fan was in critical condition with the dust on it. Fortunately it was winter and we didn't have to use it, as it must not have been cleaned in years.
I hope that people who have this type of business value the conditions they offer as much as the money they earn.

Dirty - Public hairs on private toilet!

so I booked a private en-suite room. The bathroom was disgusting, it had probably not been cleaned for a couple of months, it smelt like mould and the shower handle was broken. Worst part was the public hairs on the toilet seat.
In the morning I asked to check out early and for a refund of the un-used days. They refused saying “hostels are not bites, they do not need to be clean” unbelievable.
Aside from this - good location, terrible thing walls that you can hear EVERYTHING. Comfortable enough bed.
This trip adviser page says the rooms have a fridge and new mattress which is not true.

Amazing experience

Excellent location, friendly owner, excellent english spoken. Humble place yet you feel like home.
Very good place to stay for good value of money.
The roof is always open for guests who always leave a souvenir b4 they go.
Ill defenitly come back whenever im in istanbul.

Nice and clean hostel

Hostel is clean, nice atmosphere. It has a good location, very close to Galata tower (you can observe it from the hostel terrace). This area is in quiet center, close to Istiklal street and metro station Sishane. Nice kitchen and nice terrace, wi-fi there is better than in the room. The owner is a cute funny guy)))
