Good sunset.
Another visit to Kata Rocks. We love to enjoy sunset with delicious drinks and lovely lounge music. This time by female DJ and a male guitar player. They created a super atmosphere. Had a lovely sunset and not the last time we come to you. We will be so pleasantly surprised by the good mood and service of your punishment.

A luxurious stay at Kata Rocks
We are on our last night staying at Kata Rocks through a Luxury Escapes deal and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — the staff were warm, attentive, and truly made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
The villa was stunning, with breathtaking views, every modern amenities required for a week stay even a washing machine, and thoughtful touches that added to the luxury feel. The pool and in-room facilities were impeccable, making it hard to leave the comfort of our private space.
Dining was also a highlight — delicious food paired with top-tier service and incredible views, don’t forget desert they were amazing ! . Every detail of our stay felt curated for relaxation and indulgence.
In a good location if you want to be away from the busy Patong area. Easy to walk to beach using the Hotel buggy and shops are near by, getting taxi’s or using the grab transport made it easy when venturing out, we did use the hotel transport but found this to be a little expensive.
We highly recommend Kata Rocks for anyone looking for a luxury escape with outstanding service and unforgettable scenery. We’ll definitely be back!

Impressive from the first step into the Resort, everything looks quiet, calm, and private, Villa with unbeatable ocean views, view of the sea from the bed, beautiful decor, clean and spacious, everything looks premium, especially the pool in Villa.
The breakfast is unusual, it’s a la carte, but it’s impossible to order, all the dishes ordered are delicious fine dining, the coffee is good, the homemade bread is very flavorful, and the peak is the seating over the sea, the crawls, the staff is professional, but friendly, smiling, greeting every time.
It’s perfect for those who want to escape the hustle—it’s really quiet and calm, it’s like living in a private world, getting up to the ocean views, good coffee, and soaking in the private pool is the ultimate delight on Trips.
Before you go back, the staff also packed the bags and sent us with a very warm smile, in short, if you return to Phuket, you will definitely stay here again.”**

Luxury at its best!
It was my wife’s birthday and the team at Kata rocks made her day! On special request they prepared a Rock shaped cake and our villa was decorated too.
Hospitality, View, cleanliness, food everything was top notch.
They have breathtaking view and the best sunset view right from villa!

Never ever Never again
What a disappointment: two years ago, the Kata Rocks was worth every star and the price. In the meantime, however, the quality has clearly deteriorated. Even the transfer from the airport to the hotel was more than uncomfortable: instead of an hour's drive, we spent two and a half hours on an uncomfortable, poorly air-conditioned bus - with no WiFi and no drinks. The disappointment was even greater when we arrived at the hotel. The condition in no way corresponds to the number of stars. Our apartment (Villa 303) smelled of mold, the view from the bedrooms was like a building site, the blinds were defective and rusty - making it impossible to darken the room. The same goes for the bathroom: the toilet seats are filthy with urine from underneath, the tiles have not been cleaned, the shower heads are calcified so that the water splashes in all directions. There are brown stains on the towels and bed linen. The floor in the entire apartment is scratched.
Of course, we reported the defects immediately. The hotel management then gave us another room - unfortunately this did not change the problem: the new room has the same defects and is in no way worth five stars and the money. The complex is extremely run-down and in no way resembles the pictures on the homepage. We were definitely here for the last time and can only recommend anyone looking for cleanliness, comfort and special accommodation in Phuket not to book at Kata Rocks. We would have liked to end our stay here early, but of course the hotel - although both the owner and the director personally inspected the shortcomings - is not prepared to waive the costs. So, another five days of our precious vacation in accommodation that is not worth the money!
