Fantastic experience, great value, highly recommend

We spent 3 nights at the African Paradise hotel and have nothing but good things to say. The hotel is right by the ocean; white sand beach and beautiful, warm, turquoise water; nice and quiet/relaxing area, but a very short beach walk from the lively town of Paje. The owners are adorable - they were so helpful and accommodating; they helped arrange a variety of day-trips for us, coordinating transportation, etc. They also took us/a few other guests on a complementary boat ride to swim/snorkel nearby! The room was super cozy, clean, and had AC. The staff were all super helpful/friendly, and the FOOD. Omg. The breakfast that was included was a 3-course meal that started with the best, most flavorful fruit we’ve ever had, and was followed by a new main course each day (the waffles with banana, chocolate sauce, and whatever the heavenly fruit flavor was were our fav), followed by eggs, made to order. The lunch/dinner menu and cocktail menu were also fantastic, and very reasonably priced, especially given how giant the food portions were. 10/10, would highly recommend staying here!

A pearl on the beach where no wish goes unfulfilled.

This gem is located a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Paje. Here you can relax and the really friendly and attentive staff tries to read every wish from your lips. The two owners have managed to create a beautiful and cozy place where you feel comfortable right away. Even unusual wishes are met with such love that you feel more like you are among friends than in a hotel. The kitchen conjures up a delicious and varied 3-course breakfast and the menu offers snacks for the day and a good selection of food for the evening. The bar also has something for almost every taste. Prices are fair and transportation to and from the airport is reliably regulated. Even in the morning at 5.00 am you get a heartfelt goodbye and a breakfast package for the way!
Thank you Pia&Hasim, you made our stay very special!

African Paradise, apt name!!

The African Paradise Beach Hotel managed to fully meet all the (high) expectations we had!
A premise is indispensable: the structure is not a Resort, it is far from the "nightlife" and it is wedged in a village where people live in an obvious state of low income; and this, unless you come all the way to Zanzibar to spend two weeks soaking, in the pool or at sea, for us is a great strength!
Specifically, the hotel is directly on the southeast sea, with the bar/restaurant tables directly on the beach.
Our room had a terrace overlooking the sea, in front of which the African sun rose.
The room was a real apartment, enough for 5 people (although with only one bathroom).
All very clean, with daily cleaning (if requested).
The staff always available helped us with suitcases, and was always there, even when (for excursions and restart) we had crazy night hours.
The WiFi was very performing and we never had problems with electricity or water holes, cold and hot (they have a generator set that makes up for the structural problems in the area).
Great breakfast, with a rich plate of fruit (pineapple, mango, papaya, watermelon, passion fruit and more), a different local dish every day, your choice of eggs or other freshly cooked, fruit juices at will and coffee.
The owners were very kind and great hosts, they gave us local products and always cared that everything was fine.
They offered us toast to take away when we left too early for breakfast, gave us enough bottled water and pampered us for the duration of the stay.
We always had dinner in the structure and ate very well, with an exceptional quality / price ratio.
They kept us company dogs and cats of the owners, sweet and discreet.
On the last evening a Maasai show was also organized, with songs and dances, really very nice and interesting.
The beach of Bwejuu where the hotel is located is one of the most prone to the Tidal Superstar, a fascinating Superstar that while on the one hand allows you to swim only at certain times of the day, on the other allows you to walk in a unique landscape, among the locals who "fish" in the sand released by the low tide.
We left the property with regret, suffering the "sickness of Africa", that is the nostalgia to leave a place where we lived a wonderful stay!
The only suggestion for the structure is to add some indications, both in the neighboring streets and on the gate of the structure; in fact, if taxis and drivers in the area did not have difficulty, the taxi from the airport struggled quite a bit to find the entrance to the hotel (and even worse for those arriving with a rental car).
