The hotel is less than 5 minutes walking distance from exit 1 of Ximending MRT station. Room was very clean and staffs were very helpful.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The room is nice and tidy. The only thing I dislike is the bathroom becos it's not so user friendly. But overall good. The location is near to metro and Ximending.

Good service and value for money
The hotel is really centrally located for the Redhouse area and the gay bars.
We found the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout the 10 day stay.
The rooms are basic, but well equipped, with bottles of water, and toiletries which are replenished every day. The cleaner can in everyday, made the beds, cleaned and gave new towels. The housekeeping was of a very high standard. Each morning juice boxes and sandwiches were left on the door for breakfast.
The view was poor, but I think thats just part of being in a crowded densely populated city like Taipei.
I would definitely stay here again, and recommend to others, as the service, cleaning, and and ammonites more than compensate for any negatives.

Good Choice for Budget Traveller
It is not easy to find accommodation approx USD 100 for room with private bathroom in downtown of Taipei during last week of December.
This may be the right choice for budget traveller.
From Ximen Station exit 1, you can walk around 5 min to hotel.
The hotel is a little bit old but clean.
You can walk to Longsan temple around 20 -25min or Carrefour Guilin Store around 10 -15 min.
Location is a key for anyone loving area of Ximending.
There are a lot of local food restaurants in this areas.
You can explore Taipei attraction by MRT as station of Ximen not far from the hotel.
Very friendly female staff at front desk in night shift and male staff in day shift.
Highly recommended for budget traveller.
