Highly recommended

Nice accommodation, caring and with impeccable attention. I have to say that I have arachnophobia and I always respect going to accommodation with stone walls and wooden ceilings, but in this case, the room was spotless, very clean and without any trace of cobwebs or dirt, taken care of to the smallest detail.
Breakfast, varied and abundant.
The boy who wears it is attentive and very nice. Definitely a recommended place.

Exceptional!

La Trebede is one of those places where you don't know what to expect and which surprises for the better.
Its remote location makes it an ideal getaway with stunning views of the Picos de Europa and a cozy atmosphere.
The house is an old structure dating from the 16th century, renovated to retain its original form and materials. There are 8 rooms available and a suite with an independent kitchen. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and most rooms offer stunning views of the mountains. The design is extremely rustic, with the venue being constructed of stone and wood.
Everything is impeccable and carefully maintained to offer home quality.
It is the ideal place to enjoy the silence and the crackling of the fire in winter.
The staff are wonderful, discreet and attentive, making you feel at home and comfortable from the first moment.
We intended to spend one night there and ultimately decided to extend our stay to include New Year's Eve, just to enjoy more of the enchanting house and its surroundings.
La Trebede is perfect for those looking to enjoy a traditional home. I couldn't recommend him more!

Beautiful place worth enjoying

La Trebede is one of those places you don’t know what to expect from and that surprises you for the better.
Its remote location makes it a perfect getaway spot with amazing views of Picos de Europa and a cosy homey feel.
The house is an ancient structure dating from the 16th century, renovated to maintain its original form and materials. There are 7 available rooms and a suite with an independent kitchen. Every room has its own bathroom and most rooms offer breathtaking views of the mountains. The design is overwhelmingly rustic, the place being built from rock and wood.
Everything is spotless and carefully maintained to offer a home-like quality.
The main living room can be enjoyed by all guests. Its got a cozy couch, a chimney, a TV and it’s a perfect spot to enjoy the silence and crackling of the fire in winter.
The personnel is wonderful, discreet and attentive, making you feel welcome and comfortable from the first moment.
The hotel offers breakfast in a spacious dinning area. There’s no dinner or lunch service but Potes, a big town nearby, located 15 minutes away by car, offers a variety of restaurants and bars with plenty dishes from the local cuisine.
We intended to spend one night there and eventually decided to actually prolong our stay to include New Year’s Eve just to enjoy more of the enchanting house and its surroundings.
La Trebede is perfect for those looking to enjoy a traditional house. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Location and scenery

We stayed 2 nights in this lovely Posada while visiting the Picos. The location is perfect and the views stunning. However the food was a big disappointment. We ate dinner 1 night, no white wine and breakfast was essentially bread, no cheese or even cold meat. Needless to say we had breakfast and dinner out the 2nd day. Maybe the owners could address that as it is a most attractive place to stay.

Charming off-the-beaten track hideaway

We spent one night here in September 2016. It's a little hard to find, at the top of a narrow road from the valley. But once you arrive we had a charming welcome in this small, but atmospheric, mountain hotel. Our room looked out across the valley to the Picos mountains - stunning in the early morning.
Supper was simple mountain food, but quite adequate. Breakfast was similar. We went on our way very satisfied!
