Non-Muslims cannot enter Makkah. As per the directives of the Tourism Ministry In Saudi Arabia, the Official Checkin time in Makkah and Madinah officially starts from 6pm onwards therefore the Hotel Check-in time may vary and kept at the discretion of the Hotel. According to government policy and social customs in Saudi Arabia, it applies to Saudi Nationals and Residents that a marriage certificate needs to be provided upon check-in if a male and female shares a room. It is strictly prohibited to provide accommodation for visitors arriving on a visit visa from 18 April 2026 until 1 June 2026, unless they hold a valid Hajj permit. • Saudi and GCC nationals arriving for Umrah are permitted to stay in accommodation facilities until 2 May 2026, without the requirement of a permit. • Saudi nationals and residents, holding a work permit issued via the national permits platform, are permitted to stay in accommodation facilities during the Hajj Season.
