Excellent modern Hotel, Ideal for a break in Porto
Excellent modern hotel, central in Porto, and right next to main metro station Trindade, which has direct metro connections to airport and most central/popular areas within Porto
Arrived after a short 5min walk from Trindade metro station. Reception area is clean, modern and receptionist was very friendly and informative. Checked us into our room on 6th floor. They is a city Tax to pay on arrival and in fairness to Expedia they did make that clear. Security was very good key card needed to access guest areas.
Room was very modern, TV, Nespresso machine, tea/coffee, free Safe, TV, complimentary shower gels all included!
Slept well every night, bed very comfortable and no external noise and the black out curtains were great.
Shower in bathroom was excellent, and room was serviced daily.
The hotel also has free WiFi for guests and a rooftop terrace on top floor. The bar on the rooftop terrace was closed but you can still sit in the outside space, we'd bring us own beers up there to enjoy.
Check out on last day was 12pm but hotel was happy to look after our bags free of charge until our later flight back to UK.
Booked the hotel via Expedia and paid £360 for 3 days which given the quality of everything within the hotel I thought was good value.
Porto is a beautiful city well worth a visit and i'd certainly stay at the Acta the clova again.

The perfect place to relax
Myself and my husband have just stayed here for a week. We found it to be excellent, very clean, comfortable and stylish. We ate at breakfast twice and found it really good value for money and a great way to begin the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful so we took all our recommendations from them. In terms of location it’s probably a bit further out than many other hotels but not too far especially after your legs have accustomed themselves to the hilly nature of the area. The benefit was that it was a very quiet and relaxing stay. A perfect retreat after the hustle and bustle of the river Douro. I would highly recommend this hotel!

deeply average....
Bit disappointed after paying more than 166 euros for one night. I expected something with a bit more character. It could have been an airport hotel. Dull decor, tiny elevators. Nice breakfast and kind staff. I will try to find something a bit better on my next Porto trip.

Good call. Recommended.
Hotel close enough to the center and great for the quality of services provided. Before choosing this hotel I saw several and read as many reviews and in the end my choice was more than positive.
On the rooms nothing to object, new, very large; but we were on the first floor and at night the street below was quite noisy despite the soundproofing. In the room we also found a Nespresso coffee machine, in addition to all the other accessories. Excellent breakfast.
A bit cold and sluggish the reception of the guys at the reception , we needed help for a restaurant (not knowing the Portuguese language) but they did not work too hard to help us. I would advise them to make a few more smiles as we customers always like it very much.
However, I recommend the hotel Acta The Clover. We spent two nights in a standard double room and booked through the Hotel website.

Quality hotel
I found a great deal directly on the Hotel website, much more advantageous than the classic search sites. My room, a standard double with extra bed proved up to the category even though it wasn't very large. Excellent cleaning carried out every day with towel change. Slippers, a welcome bottle of water and coffee capsules are available. The formula chosen included breakfast which was really varied and with both savoury and sweet quality products. This hotel is a stone's throw from the center of Porto and easily accessible from the airport by metro (2.40 euro ticket) as the Trindade stop is located a few meters. All the attractions of Porto can be reached within a 15-minute walk. Recommended.
