A fantastic experience
My wife and I stayed in the windmill for a week arriving on Saturday 27th July.
It was a fantastic experience.
I had read a couple of bad reviews on here about mold and a damp smell but we didn’t have any of those issues.
The windmill is very cosy. The kitchen area is small and partially under the stairs (so you have to be careful not to bump your head), but it’s perfect for making tea and a sandwich.
The bathroom is on the first floor and is spacious (the shower does drain slowly, but we didn’t have a problem with this).
The bedroom on the top floor is spectacular. The views (360°) are fantastic (better than the photos) and the king sized bed is very comfortable.
There is a chicken coup nearby and the cockerel does like to crow early in the morning. So, although we like the windows open at night, we chose to keep them shut and utilise the aircon.
There was a generous basket of food delivered at 8am every morning (just left on the doorstep) and there was plenty for breakfast and a light lunch.
The swimming pool (which is not mentioned in the blurb) was fantastic. One of the best pools that I have swam in. A salt water (heated) infinity pool that I didn’t want to get out of. I have put on three photos- one of me in the pool and two of the view from the pool (you can just see the windmill on the right behind the tree)
If you have any doubts about this place, dispel them and book it. You won’t be disappointed.

Bungalow "Mo de Cima" - a real gem
Moinho das Feteiras is a small rural resort consisting of the mill and 3 bungalows. The bungalows are called "Mo de Cima" and "Celeira", are converted grain warehouses, as well as the "Millers House".
Overall we felt very comfortable here, everything was wonderful. From time to time a dog barks in the neighborhood, or one of the apparently in-house cats makes itself comfortable on the terrace, it is fantastically quiet, the location ideal to explore the island.

Bungalow
We lived in a very modern bungalow (Mo de Cima). The large living room is friendly with contemporary furniture, a huge panoramic window and in front of it a dreamlike, sunny terrace.
From here you can overlook the garden and the mill further down, and enjoy perfect sunsets.
The kitchen area is small but everything you need is there, including a small dishwasher, microwave, oven and 2 induction hobs.
The bedroom offers a really very pleasant bed, built-in wardrobes with ample space and also has a balcony.
Nice little bathroom, nice walk-in shower, toiletries in the dispenser.

Service/breakfast included
Even if we had no direct contact with the staff during the 7 days of our stay (via WhatsApp and telephone possible), the service includes daily cleaning incl. Towel change and breakfast, which is delivered every morning about 8am.
This is quite pleasing, in addition to one roll per person, there are mainly sweet pastries. For this purpose, in many small jars are delivered sliced cheese, cream cheese, butter and jam / Nutella, cereals as well as homemade natural yoghurt, plus fruit and eggs - these are raw, so you have to cook or fry them yourself (good if you know that beforehand...).
Add milk and orange juice. Capsules for the Nespresso machine are also always provided.
If you don't want something the next day, you cross it out on the included card, but you get something else nice. For Christmas we had a delicious cake.

Located just outside the village of Feteiras, surrounded by quiet residential streets, in a beautiful, well-kept garden on a hillside and with fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean. A new pool was created.
Access to the complex is secured with a gate (code / remote control), the parking is small but sufficient.
One of the main attractions, Vista do Rei / Sete Cidades, is quickly reached from here. Ponta Delgada is less than 20 kilometers away and the small airport is reached in 10-15 minutes.
Shopping can be done on foot, about 6 minutes uphill to the main road, is right next to the Galp petrol station a smaller supermarket, otherwise in Relva/Arrifes (by car 10 minutes about) there are several very large supermarkets.

What a beautiful and unique place! We stayed there for two last nights in Azores. What an epic ending to our adventure! Highly recommend! Breakfast was amazing and everything about this place was fantastic

WARNING: BLACK MOULD IN PROPERTY. DON'T BOOK!
VERY strong smell of damp/mould in the property. Visibility of black mould on furniture. The extremely strong smell meant I was unable to sleep well and it actually affected my breathing during my stay and for days afterwards.
It's actually a health hazard staying here. There was a huge dehumidifier in the kitchen and it had been re-painted recently so the owners know of the issue but still continue accept paying customers.
Anything nice about the property is forgotten because of the mould issue. Look at the photos.

We loved the included breakfast which consisted of fresh local goods! Made our stay much easier and conveniant. Highly recommend
