Great food and good service

We had a pleasant stay at Skogstad Hotel. Good beds, clean and nice. Great breakfast and great service. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, lovely food and top service too. After dinner played in shuffleboard, football games, darts etc.. at the hotel. Nice evening for big and small. Thank you for us. Recommended!

Very basic accommodation

Friendly staff at the reception. You have to pay for the parking (not the hotel decision but the city regulation) as well as for the sauna. The room on the parking side was small and dark, old fashioned. Hardly space to open your luggage except the hand luggage. No fridge, no coffee machine. The furniture on the small balcony needed a serious cleaning before using it. There are no dark stores so the day light wakes you up pretty early. Very weak Internet, Bluetooth streaming does not work or very badly. The rain shower is a plus point. The breakfast is rather basic, fruit cuts seem prepared the day before, start to dry. Orange jus is not replenished so hard to have a second glass. Overall, no reason to get back.

Well, the reflector from the parking place was so much sharp that the lights patch through curtains. Breakfast buffet was just mazing, excellent.

Ok price, good breakfast, but very hard beds.

The hotel is centrally located to ok, price. Breakfast is good, with nice staff. We got upgraded rooms, but there the beds were very hard. Short distance to Hemsedal ski center.
Labert with nightlife nearby on Thursdays, but it takes on Friday and Saturday.

THE BEST price-quality ratio! I don't think that the photos do justice to this place which is fine because once we got there we were absolutely blown away. The only piece of information that I didn't spot in advance was the cost of parking but I am not complaining even about this since staff was extremely friendly, the facilities were amazing, breakfast was luxurious and if you eat at their bistro, the ceasar salad is incredibly delicious! We didn't want to leave after the one night and I already want to go back.
