Relaxing stay with nice extra

Nice stay at Grand hotel Beatrix. Very friendly staff and beautifully located. The sea view of the junior suite was disappointing considering you mainly have a view of the dike. If you want real sea views, take the suite on the 3rd floor. Room was modern and nice but not impeccable. Breakfast was very varied and tasty. Also many healthy options

Clean & smelly room

For me Indonesians, this is the 2nd accommodation after the Den Helder hotel
For me, the experience staying in this place is pretty good.

Unique location

Although I have known the hotel for a while, I had never been there. The location is really perfect if you love the sea. Within a few steps you are on the dike and the dunes are also around the corner. The hotel itself dates from the eighties but has been well renovated. The rooms are spacious and modern. The bed was well comfortable and the bathroom functional. Personally, I'm not in favour of a bath in which you have to shower. The staff is very friendly from reception to catering. Breakfast buffet was not super extensive but was adequate. The sea view during breakfast makes up for all that. What does it not make five stars: for me that is the look inside with quite low ceilings and some dark spaces. But I would definitely come back here.

The bathroom and the overall experience of our room was outdated, unfortunately we had a disgusting smell in our room we weren’t able to locate - we could only sleep with an open window at night to get fresh air.
The sink, the shower and the sink table were old - only the tiles were new and renovated recently.
The sewers were not clean.
Bed was comfy though and the staff at the reception friendly and welcoming.

Rooms were a good size and beds were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice amenities onsite, pool, sauna and steam room. Onsite dining is limited in selection and open hours. Breakfast was very good.
