Great location, great hosts

Very well situated, only 15 mins from Dam Square. The boat is simple, but comfortable and very clean. Our hosts, Romek and Kristoffer were most hospitable and did everything to make this a super stay. Their ability to chat to all the guests in their own languages was impressive! The breakfast, included in the price, was amazing in its variety and quality. Highly recommend!

The staff was fantastic! Breakfast was delicious. They even made our eggs to order ☺️. Thankfully there was a couple walking into the hotel when we were trying to check in otherwise we wouldn't have known what to do.

Poor experience

We stayed in August with a group of friends for a bike and boat trip and stayed on Sarah. We did not arrive independently but the Reservation was made by the tour operator.
Courteous and always friendly staff, very plentiful breakfast with daily change of towels, on request. The negative note, or rather bad, concerns the accommodation : in all cabins there was a strong smell of constant and persistent sewer along with a continuous leakage of flies from the drains / sewers, from the shower drain. I was personally stung in various places on the body by insects. We spent several hours in the evening killing insects never removed from the shower or where they remained. I found an open beer bottle under the bed (of another guest before us!!!!) that had not been removed.
This shows the little attention to cleanliness. Unfortunately there was no resolution of the problem for all 7 days of stay, despite we had contacted the cabin crew immediately, pointing out the problem.
The cabin where we stayed was hot with spoiled and unbreathable air, despite the mild temperatures outside, so much so that we had to use a fan at night.
I would definitely not recommend this accommodation

Bad.

We stayed in August with a group of friends for a traveling trip, moving by bike with the hotel boat waiting for us in the ports of the various stages planned by the organization of the trip.
Pros were the kindness of the cabin crew, the very hearty breakfast and the daily change of towels. The downside, or rather bad, concerns the accommodation : in all cabins there was a strong smell of constant and persistent sewage along with a continuous leakage of psychodidae, the so-called drain flies / sewers, from the shower drain. Unfortunately there was no resolution of the problem for all 7 days of stay, despite we had contacted the cabin crew immediately, pointing out the problem. I add to the gravity of what was written also the summary daily cleaning, which left something to be desired. In light of what happened I would not recommend this hotel regretdomene, as the hotelship formula in my opinion could be very interesting.

A great stay on Hotel boat Sarah

We've just come back from a fantastic weekend in Amsterdam. Five friends stayed on the boat Sarah which is in an excellent location easily accessible from the station. Skipper / Owner / Host, Martien, and his team are all excellent and made us feel very welcome. Facilities are just as described in the listing and websites and exactly as we expected. Beds are comfortable and we found it very quiet and relaxing although I see others have commented on noise from other guests. Breakfasts were excellent and the advice and local knowledge shared was very useful. We would definitely recommend it.
