Absolute must

Wow . It was beautiful. Decoration was fantastic . The rooms were fantastic and the staff went above and beyond . The roof terrace is great to kick back and relax with a book . Breakfast was delicious, fresh fruit , breads and yogurt. We dined out for few nights and the standard in Marrakesh is very high , however, we stayed at the Riad to eat and I’ll be honest ! It was the best we’d had . I loved the house the experience and the staff . I made a new friend , she looked after us , made us laugh and to be honest on the day we left she wasn’t around . Absolutely gutted to have missed you atimade Laila xx you are very special , thank you and hope to visit again ! Best lemon chicken in Morocco ❤️

An oasis in the Medina

Hotel is a lovely riad in the middle of the Medina.
The rooms are beautiful and comfortable with a lovely scent of incense. The patio is very bright.
Upon arrival, you are greeted with a mint tea and local cookies.
Breakfast includes local staples (warm msemen with honey were my favorite).
I’d come back.

Perfect riad providing an oasis experience

We had the most perfect time at riad Danka. We loved it .As reviews state it’s a fantastic central location in the medina . Everything walking distance. Riad is beautifully presented with great decor touches. On arrival greeted with Moroccan tea and cakes. Simo the manager is just an absolute joy and was so helpful to us . Nothing too much for him to sort . The cleaning ladies did a wonderful job on a great Moroccan breakfast and keeping the place spotless . Valerie the owner was lovely and welcoming. Taxi service to and from the airport was well organised. And everything else faultless which meant we could just relax and enjoy every moment . We would recommend this wonderful riad to everyone .

Beautiful riad with bright patio and rooftop. Very quiet. The room is comfortable but I have experienced better pillows elsewhere. Swimming pools are beautiful but more for ambiance than swimming.
The hotel is in the Medina, you have to go through the soukh to access it.
They offer filtered water every day, which was appreciated.
The superior room is very nice for a 3-night stay although there is no desk to work.
The breakfast was good with local pancakes and breads served warm with honey, local mint tea and fresh fruits. Breakfast starts late at 8:30am. Visiting sites open at 9am or 10am. So, it makes it hard to arrive at the opening to the sites to avoid crowds.
Check-in was swift. I received a map with the highlights (visit and restaurants). Not very personalized but appreciated. Mint tea and cookies offered at arrival for which was a nice touch.
I would recommend to arrange transport from the airport. The hotel did not reach out before my arrival to offer the service which has to be arranged 24 hours before arrival. I forgot about it, and it was a little hard to find the riad which was not very close from the Shell taxi Medina drop-off.m (about 10 minutes walk with luggages on the paved uneven streets and under the hot sun).
Overall, very nice riad, no complaint. However, I am not sure it was the best value for money because it was quite pricey and I was expecting a little more in terms of service for this price. Very good overall.

Everything was perfect at Riad Danka with a great location in the heart of the Medina. The breakfast was delicious, serving the best mint tea in Marrakech. The room was gorgeous, clean and had everything needed for a wonderful stay. The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. We booked airport transfers through Riad Danka and this is a must to make your holiday a stress free experience. Riad Danka was absolutely beautiful. We loved the decor, it smelt beautiful and I had the roof top terrace all to myself one sunny afternoon accept for their friendly cat and tortoise. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Marrakech.
