Exceptional stay at Riad 72!
We stayed there in May and were captivated by the experience. The riad is a true haven of peace, extremely quiet, ideal for relaxing after the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.
The bedding is excellent, which is a real plus, and the welcome is particularly warm: you feel expected and well taken care of from the moment you arrive (tea service).
The breakfast is a true pleasure, varied and different each morning, with quality products. Special mention also for the superb rooftop pool, perfect for cooling off while enjoying the view.
An excellent value for money that we recommend without hesitation!

The perfect Riad stay in Marrakesh
The Riad is beautifully designed, but the 5 star review is really determined by the people - great staff and service on every occasion.

Perfection with a rooftop pool!
It’s so difficult to choose a Riad as there are so many! I narrowed it to Riad 72 due to the amazing reviews and rooftop pool. It definitely lived up to my expectations.
The pick up was seamless and we were met by Stefania the owner on arrival with Mint tea and biscuits, such a lovely welcome. We were also given a map and a phone to use if we needed it which was helpful due to not being able to use data from the Uk.
Our room Manour was lovely great air con, brilliant shower and rooftop terrace up a private staircase. I asked for this room but it wasn’t guaranteed but they delivered, however we hardly used this as the rooftop pool was stunning.
The rooftop area is incredible it’s so picturesque, loads of towels, a rooftop restaurant and the most comfy beds to chill on with some shade from the quirky parasols.
The guy with the hat (not sure of his name!) looked after us with delicious Homemade Ginger beer and the most fantastic Hummus at lunchtime!
We did visit Naama which is stunning for lunch although you do have to walk round a square to get there instead of being able to walk through the hotel not sure why? Staff said it was a government thing?
The Wa spa was fabulous I booked us a hamman and massage and we felt amazing afterwards our skin was so soft! Nadia gave me the best massage I’ve ever had!
I loved the turn down and macrons left by the bedside every night. Plenty of bottled water and just little things like being left extra hangers …,, we didn’t ask for them but they could see we used them and delivered more!
Fatima served us breakfast on the rooftop which is beautiful and each day there was a surprise addition of freshly made doughnuts, pancakes & crepes!
Mohamed was so helpful and gave me tours of many of the rooms maybe for our next visit!
The Riad is now I think 5 houses with a total of 14 rooms? It’s just such a special place and ideally located literally 5 minutes from Bacha coffee and 10-15 mins to Secret garden. Easy to get taxis just at the main corner.
We loved it and hope to visit again, it’s perfect. We were given a farewell like family!

Our Oasis in the Medina
A big thank you to the manager Stephania and her entire team at 72 Riad. We loved this designesque type of hotel/riad. With lots of attention to details and sitting areas, and all the little touches that makes this place so special. Great location on the edge of the Medina and walking distance to everything you want to see and do. Rooftop pool. Lovely Hamman and spa. Wonderful breakfast service. Highly recommend staying here on your next trip to Marrakech.

The calm and refinement
An address not to be missed.
Ideally located in the medina and in a less frequented area compared to other more touristy spots, the 72 is a calm, spacious, and high-quality Riad.
Both the decor and the staff are at the level of the displayed price.
We greatly appreciated this haven of peace just steps away from the hustle and bustle of the medina.
We will return if we pass through Marrakech again.
Ideally located in the medina and in a less frequented area compared to other more touristy spots, the 72 is a calm, spacious, and high-quality Riad.
