2nd/3rd time staying here. It is close to KSL (about 5-6 mins walk) which is the main perk. Breakfast spread is good too!

Worst than public toilet

Toilet was extremely dirty. Seat was black and when I wiped it, it was blackish green. See photo of the toilet paper. Obviously not cleaned.
Hand towel had lipstick stains on it.
Ceiling was full of mould.
Don't stay in room 1420.
The room is worse than your public toilet.

Crystal crown hotel is within walking distance to KSL shopping mall and Taman Sentosa. We have booked a non-renovated room which the cleanliness is acceptable and the aircon is functioning well. However the toilet facility is not so satisfactory. The hair dryer is very old and very noisy. My room can even hear the noise when the next door neighbor is using it. The toilet floor is slippery and the hot water for the shower is cold. The breakfast is simple but acceptable for the price paid. The staff are attentive in clearing the empty plates. During new year eve, the fireworks can be viewed from the hotel room.

Overall not bad, this hotel is quite old with a lot of appliances like hair dryer, lights, carpet, etc was not replace, so you will have feeling it is really 'budget' hotel, however price is not as competitive as other nearby newer & nicer hotel. Breakfast offer as local food is pretty good for the price though. My stay with family during Chinese New year, the hotel almost fully book maybe due to long holidays period. One bad experience is they gave 2 different users for same room, so I end up able to open another customer's room with different set of keys. I think such mistake was critical. Imagine if someone open your room & come in without your consent.... Service respond also slow despite they apologies for their mistake.

Clean huge room.easy access to malls and eateries.authentic japanese restaurant Kirishima within the hotel.
