Well situated for 10 min walk to fort Jesus and old city. Clean and nice atmosphere

For 1-2 nights OK.

The hotel is quite old. We had booked a deluxe double room but could not find much deluxe here. The rooms look like they stopped in the 80s.
The staff is always friendly but also incredibly slow. With the place empty, we waited 1h in the evening for our snacks, which were only moderately good.
The hotel is very close to Fort Jesus and therefore well suited to visiting the Old Town. Since we stayed here only 2 nights before our departure, it was OK.
Next time we would stay in Nyali and then take the TukTuk to the old town

Nice mid range hotel near fort jesus

This is a very nice mod range hotel within walking distance of fort jesus. It has a bar with football on, if that's your thing, but it closes not too late. The room was spacious and comfortable and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I hurt my knee and they immediately found me some ice to put on it. Breakfast was good and we ate on the restaurant one evening which was fine for vegetarians.

Convenient for exploring Fort Jesus and the Old Town and walking distance to the Mombasa tusks. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Needs to be refurbished

Staff are friendly and kind but the facility seems stuck in the 80s. It is in urgent need of an upgrade if it is to compete against modern-day hotels and Air Bnbs'. The rooms are tiny, and have very aged furniture and fittings. They could keep the old look but with a present-day touch.
