Hotel location is great, near the main road, the signage is easy to catch. We drove from Dublin to Thurles, there are a lot of parking lots in the hotel compound, free of charge.
The hotel breakfast is great, we may order breakfast set from menu, we had full irish breakfast and omelette, the portions are big. There are buffet area for pastries, juices, fruits, and salad.

Muireann made our stay
We recently stayed at the Anner Hotel and while the accommodations were lovely, the true highlight of our trip was the incredible service we received from our waitress, Muireann.
From the start, Muireann greeted us with a bright smile and a genuinely kind, upbeat attitude. She worked seamlessly with our group’s requests and never made anything feel like too much trouble. She even went out of her way to bring me a sample of curry to try with my fries—something she absolutely didn’t have to do, but it made all the difference.
Muireann’s attention to detail, willingness to go above and beyond, and overall warmth completely elevated our dining experience. She made us feel truly welcomed and cared for, and her energy was contagious. Without a doubt, she was the best part of our stay at the Anner Hotel.
If you’re visiting, I hope you’re lucky enough to be served by Muireann—you’re in for a treat!

Great experience
Great location with stunning, peaceful gardens, great outside seating area and pleasant smoking area. Beautiful interior design full of character and most welcoming. The bedroom very tastefully decorated with comfy bed and pillows. The amazing bathroom with super shower all the toiletries you would need were so nice I purchased some. We had a fabulous stay the staff were all polite, friendly, helpful a credit to the company. The carvery lunch was very popular we ate in the evening in Ed's Bistro. To sum up our stay we will be back in a heart beat.

Exceptional - 5 star Standards
From the moment you enter through the driveway, you know you have arrived somewhere magical and special. The gardens are exceptional and well-kept, and maintained with a special place I call my secret garden, where there is seating to relax and a fountain. The staff are so welcoming, friendly with a smile on their faces, they are proud of their jobs, and you can tell they enjoy their work. A special thanks to the team at reception, especially Kathryn, who has been working there for 29 years, always smiling and so helpful and kind. This trip was a special trip for our family, with my husband, dad, and sister, as my dad is a local Tipperary man growing up, who has been to this hotel on numerous occasions, with my mother, who had recently passed away, where the staff remembered my mother, we wanted to go back to the place where she enjoyed the most - we stayed 5 days, but wanted to be there longer! The rooms are modern, with beautiful furniture, and the food is excellent and locally sourced. We ate very well, and the restaurant staff, including the bar staff, waiters, are of a high standard and a pleasure to laugh with. My husband and I will be returning in October for a further week away. I highly recommend this hotel; it is magical, whether you're staying for business or pleasure, the Anner Hotel represents of 5-star standards.
