False advertising - the hotel description is a fraud
Mainly negative comments:-
This hotel is listed on HOTELS.COM under false advertising as they do not disclose anywhere that they have a club open DAILY and until late with very LOUD MUSIC that permeates the entire hotel, no escaping it.
The reception area turns into a coat check during club operating hours.
The belligerent attitude of the receptionist was not very welcoming and made us quite uncomfortable. Flavia, the person who attended us, insisted a message had been sent after booking informing of the club, and that I was wrong when I said I had not received any such message from the hotel ! This with my phone to hand looking for the said message which was never received. The only messages received from the hotel were to book taxi service.
Frankly if I had received a message informing me of the club after booking a non-refundable rate, I would have been even more unhappy.
This is not how you manage a quality hotel. Clearly they only care for revenue and not the comfort of their hotel guests.
I highly recommend this property BE REMOVED FROM EXPEDIA and HOTELS.COM for false advertising.
Room 204 was tiny and in need of renovation but the bed was comfortable. The room cleaners were nice.

One star hotel with a 2 star rating?

Booked through a friend who used to work there. Booked for 2 nights but they had only put in for one night, it took hours to sort and left our group anxious. Asked for more teabags and this took 2 hours to arrive with me going to the chambermaid cart and swiping some myself.
Nightmare at the nightclub as the barman tried to steal €50 from me and then refused to serve me. Staff on front desk pleasant enough but not very helpful with tourist stuff. Bedroom was just about passable although one room was huge and mine was tiny.

Garbage, fire alarms triggered all night, beds extremely uncomfortable

Terrible hotel, we knew there would be noise from nightclub downstairs however the fire alarm being triggered 5 times throughout the night, mattresses older than the Guinness factory, keg deliveries at 0600, 2 hrs after night club closed and rooms where you cannot regulate the heat. Overall worse place I have stayed. And I have been travelling for 30 years.

Just the job for a one nighter

Booked a room as somewhere to lay my head after a concert
Excellent for the price - a good quality, tidy room with everything you'd expect. Some areas of the building and the rooms are showing their age (hence the 4 rather than the 5), but for something so close to the city centre and costing less than £150 a night, you really can't complain. Bonus, access to the nightclub in the basement is included.
