Villa Sasoon

Located in Karangasem, Villa Sasoon is near the beach. Pura Candidasa and Silayukti Temple are notable landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Balina Beach and Pasir Putih Beach. Andre Spa and Blue Lagoon Beach are two other places to visit that come recommended. While you're here, you can enjoy all the comforts of home and more, including an indoor hot tub and a private plunge pool, as well as a refrigerator and a stovetop. Other amenities include designer toiletries, laundry facilities, a freezer, and a hair dryer. In accordance with local regulations, all visitors must remain within the property during Seclusion Day (Nyepi)/Hindu New Year for a 24-hour period (starting at 6 AM). Seclusion Day typically falls in March or April (dates subject to change each year). Check-in and check-out will not be possible on that date. Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali International Airport) is also closed on Seclusion Day.

Worth visiting Bali for

Absolutely loved Villa 2 at Villa Sasoon. There are 4 individual private villas each with a pool, a main building containing small well equipped kitchen and spacious living room. Each double bedroom is in its own building with bathroom opening to an outside shower. Lovely helpful staff always on hand and so friendly. There is a very good small Warung directly over the road for eat in or free delivered coffee and breakfast. We also ate there one evening (Tuna with black pepper sauce). There are hotels and other cafes all within easy walking distance. Approximately 1.5 hours from the airport, Villa Sasoon is in Candidasa (East Bali) so not as touristy as the south, and still close enough to Ubud to be able to explore there. We used a local taxi driver (Nengah - +62 878 3528 0750 - WhatsApp)  to drive us around and also for the airport. Contact him and he can have a board for you at the airport which is way easier than being hassled and scammed on arrival. We also felt safe with him.
The beach near Sasoon is currently undergoing a major project (April '26) but don't let this put you off going. If you fancy a beach day, then Virgin beach with free WiFi, Warungs , and loungers with umbrellas is only about 25 minutes away in a taxi - approx £15 return with Nengah waiting there for you. We already want to go back and wish that we had been able to stay for more than 3 nights.

Fantastic villa with blissful pool. Very pleasant staff where nothing is too much if you ask anything. Basic but good breakfast available ( 8 to 10€)

Fantastic domain with a beautiful villa. 2 separate bedrooms, both with private bathroom. Nice plus, there is a shower outside for every bedroom, you really feel like you are in the wild then
Very nice people, want and can help you very well with all kinds of things. From the smallest problem in the room to planning full day trips with driver and guide.
Definitely recommended for people who like some independence and privacy. Not a big resort, but a villa that makes you enjoy the real Bali.
We will definitely be back!!!

Exceeded our expectations

Such a lovely experience to walk into this spacious and beautiful villa which exceeded our expectations.
It really accommodated 2 couples beautifully with lovely open living area
Kitchen and dining and beautiful pool and lounges. The staff cooked breakfast and the Warung opposite had great food and even delivered.
