Dodeca Sea Resort is a 5 star Hotel, located on the beach of Ialyssos village, 8 km from the town of Rhodes and 5 km from the International Airport. Suitable for couples and specializes in family holidays, has 2 outdoor swimming pools for adults, an outdoor swimming pool for children, 3 waterslides, a spa- wellness center and a gym. All rooms are 38 to 42 m2, have a balcony or a terrace with garden, pool or sea view. They include satellite TV, individually-controlled air conditioning, safety deposit box and hairdryer. In the main restaurant guests may have American breakfast, lunch and dinner on buffet style, a variety of theme nights during the week, a midnight soup, while children’s menu is also available daily. The hotel has an A La Carte restaurant and a Snack Bar where traditional Greek food is being served and 4 on-site bars including a swim-up Pool bar and beach bar. There is an Animation Programme 6 days per week for adults and kids with day and night activities organized by our professional and multilingual animators. Mini-market, 24 hours reception, sunbeds and umbrellas, free Wi-Fi, sports facilities and free parking can be found on site.

Nice location next to the beach !
This hotel has an excellent and very convenient location .
There are plenty of shops near by . No need to even rent a car !
Rhodos is a very nice island .
The hotel is big and covid safe .
The food ... Mmm ... Ok .. It doesn't let anyone hungry , well cooked .
The salads very good and also loved the extra sweet watermelon and the winderful zaziki ...
There is also a nice snack bar serving gyros,pizza etc throughout the day and a nice Chinese restaurant at night .
Once every week there was a BBQ buffet lunch next to the pool .
Animation team nice,spa very nice ,drinks ok . Pools spaceous as well as the rooms .
The waterslides brand new ...
Plus the sea next to the hotel .
The staff pleasant ... And helpful.
Still remember the wonderful times there .
Just not too funcy ,yet huge hotel ... Some wings of the hotel brand new others more basic .
A good covid safe hotel after all with great location .

disgusting rip off dump
dirty un hygenic and non caring staff this place should have shut down and bulldozed to the ground years ago i cant believe that this place is still advertising incorrectly and very misleading. do not believe a single detail on their adverts

To award this hotel a 2 star rating would be generous. It looks like a drab 1970's concrete office building. The hotel is shabby, the grounds are not well maintained. The children's playground is dreadful and the equipment is rusty on a dusty bare earth surface. The main bar open from 6pm is most uninviting and the seating area is drab. The pool bar has park benches with peeling paint. The beach bar is shut and doesn't look as if it has been open for years it is just used for storing beach cushions at night. The food is dreadful. Little variety and of poor quality. The hot food is tepid or cold. No whole fresh fruit, mainly tinned in syrup. The restaurant is like a works canteen. There is no table service and you have to queue for everything which runs out frequently. We ate out every night at the local restaurants which were excellent and served traditional food, but annoying as we had paid a lot of money for 'all inclusive'. An added feature was the dead cockroach in the closed down supermarket display cabinet just near the restaurant! Overall everything seemed to be skimped to save money. During our stay we spoke to the only 3 other couples who also made similar remarks and all said the Dodeca was in no way a 4star hotel. (The hotel itself has 5 star on its boards, business card and WiFi) A complete joke. No official star rating system or any form of a Trades Description Act seem to apply! If it does they have most certainly violated it. I could go on .............

Below expectations
This appears to be a five star resort.
Reality: NOT a five star resort. max three. Location is good just next to the beach.
Couldn’t check in when arrived, 1 hour delay. Had to swap clothes in a nook luggage storage room. Bad service in reception from some of the staff, not interested in our staying.
Food for lunch and dinner was not good. Too basic and very tasteless, below school food standard. We went out every night to get proper Greek dinner standard. Breakfast was ok.
Snack bar served only gyros in pita, was ok. Every day the same, only gyros in pita.
No WiFi on the room.
Lightning in bathroom partly broken (took 3 days to solve, 3 daily reminders from us)
Drain in shower did not work (took 3 days to solve after 3 daily reminders)
Check out service was good.
can not recommend this hotel to anyone. Hopefully things get better!
