Perfect location, walking distance to everything!

Clean spacious rooms, good garage adjacent to the hotel. Good AC, fresh breakfast and nice staff.

Central hotel. 6th stay. Mixed results.

Excellent location. 6th stay in this 4 stars super 275 rooms. Building from 1971, bought for 66 million euros by Swedish pandox company in 2025. Mixed results. Spacious 801 room even if slightly outdated decor. Hearty breakfast. On the other hand possible progress for the friendly welcome and especially concern for computer processing between prepayment of breakfast options on the official website accor, but the hotel did not have this information in its intranet... Ubuesque and distressing situation. Three mornings in a row, wasted time, stressed, and forced to prove good faith. Fruit basket, bristol and mail apologies from the front office manager did not however make me want to return a 7th time to the Cologne pulmman.

The room was spacious and very clean as was the bathroom. The bed was massive and very comfortable with good bed linen. We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was also very good.

Very Nice Hotel

So the welcome was great, reception team go out of their way, great start. Room very clean and Housekeeping staff amazing. Dinner in Elf Brasserie was not as good. Sunday night, 3 staff on duty, the asian male and female were great. The barman that looked and acted like a bouncer was shocking. Paid €38 for steak, wrong steaks came with wrong side dishes, his answer was to scrape the mash potato off the plate on to the right plate!!!!! This is not Macdonalds. Steak and mash €38 and with attitude like his. No. The rest of the stay was amazing but someone needs to speak to this member of staff because he ruins the ambience.

The number one problem with this hotel was the air conditioning DID NOT WORK!! We switched rooms and still had no working air conditioning. We had bought a fan earlier in our trip just because almost everywhere we stay in Europe there is virtually no air conditioning. We thought Germany would be different and the first few hotels were great for A/C. We stayed in way less expensive hotels on our trip and they had great A/C. This hotel was very disappointing because of this we had a hard time sleeping it was too hot at night. We opened the window but thst did very little. We used our fan but it just blew around the hot air. It was very uncomfortable. The front desk girl did move us the first night but she told us this was all they had for air conditioning nothing better. So that was that. Very disappointing. The location was great could walk for groceries and shopping was a few blocks away. Close to all attractions.
