Fantastically quiet - pure relaxation!

We were there for a weekend with 4 children, romantic, spacious family room with maisonette (via "chicken ladder") directly under the gable, but with a hyper-modern bathroom. Beautiful inner courtyard with cottage garden, VERY well-kept, an oasis of peace for us city dwellers to slow down.
Breakfast buffet lavish and hearty, something for everyone, everything your heart desires. That's a great way to start the day!
Marksburg and the vineyards are within walking distance, but parking in front of the hotel is a bit "tricky" because it's popular and the central location in the "winding" village leaves the operators little room for maneuver.

Not worth it book somewhere else

Very expensive for what you get. They are quick to take your money but to give you any customer service is far from them… no food at 8.15 pm no one at reception, nobody is answering the phone. You need to cross a busy road to get to the apartment or get back to your car… they don’t even notify you that you aren’t in the main hotel building which should be usual standard nowadays. The whole village feels odd and no I’m not talking about the historical buildings we love them but the atmosphere is just weird … could be really good but peoples mentality and attitude ruins it all. Do yourselves a favour and head to boppard where they know what customer service is. See the attached picture this is where they expect you to be able to cook, need long arms to be able to reach the pots…

Friendly staff and very clean rooms. Nice breakfast buffet Easy to arrive by train. Nice hiking trails nearby.

Enjoyed the stay in difficult times

Nice hotel with a lot if history. Clean room and good beds. Even a "bedstee" for our youngster. Breakfast was different because of corona, but still very good. Ideal hotel to go walking or just to relax at the mozel.
