Night before zoo visit
Very pleasant guest room! Friendly welcome! The place is ideally placed for our visit to the Flèche zoo! Clean, well decorated, well arranged, we had a good night! The breakfast is super complete! We highly recommend.

Weekend / concert as a couple
Comfortable room and bedding. Really TOP welcome: a very friendly host! Breakfast: varied, plentiful... there is something for everyone! Really had a great time! Don't miss the homemade brioche, it's so good!
Well located if you're going to see a show in Antares, it's close but it's quiet. A great discovery and an address to remember!

Honest review
Some OK - some not - mostly appalling
While Phillipe, the man who cooked the breakfast that was very good, the woman Sara, who we asked for assistance, bare essentials or support was surly, unhelpful, rude and dismissive.
The rooms were a health and safety nightmare. Sliding patio doors with no curtains and we were advised to shut the electric outer steel shutters for privacy and security. As there was no other exit of any sort and no smoke or heat alarms, we didn't sleep too well, cut our stay short, left the next day. We weren't asked why, offered a refund or even a 'good bye' just OK !
Towels, bedding, furnishings are cheap and nasty. Unable to connect to the WiFi, Shower fittings broken, no coffee pods for the coffee machine - asked for help - none forthcoming and rude with it.
As it is advertised to be "farm" like (?), it failed miserably and should be reported to animal welfare authorities.
A rabbit in isolation in a filthy, small dung filled cage with two bowls of green water, two cockatiels in a dark 1 metre cube filthy cage with the door mostly shut, several pairs of love birds that appeared to be neglected and an adult and a young tortoise that they couldn't find in the undergrowth.
Very disappointing and our best wishes are for the animals and future customers.

Not for me.
Great communication re our arrival etc and very warm welcome when we met Sarah the host. The other half enjoyed the Pool, Hot Tup and the Breakfast. Unfortunately, the Accommodation / Location was not for me. It's location is in the "middle of nowhere". The nearest Restaurant was an expensive Taxi ride away. The Bed linen was very creased and appeared not to have been ironed. It was very vibrant in colour and not conducive to restful sleep. The attention to detail in the cleaning needs to addressed. The remote control for the TV was disgusting and covered in dust and dirt. The Toilet roll cover had fingermark's all over and the Toilet Seat itself was very badly stained and dirty around the attachment. The bin was dirty and had threads hanging from it. Light switches and Bed headboard were very dusty.

Lovely B&B
We stayed here for 2 nights on our way back to the UK. The room was comfortable and well equipped with a lovely en-suite,TV, fridge and coffee machine. A hairdryer was provided too. Sarah and Patrick are fantastic hosts, friendly and helpful, they even moved us to another room (without us having to ask) as the guests next door had noisy dogs! Breakfast was out of this world, especially Sarah's french toast, there was a fantastic choice of cheeses, meats, pastries, cakes, fruit, yoghurts and we were also offered eggs. We booked the "simple" evening meal (simple being 4 courses!) on one night and this too was delicious and excellent value. If you are interested in the race track, it is only about 10 minutes drive away, and the old centre of Le Mans is fabulous, lots of medieval buildings in the Cite Plantaganet. Parking in the centre was easy and not too expensive. Would thoroughly recommend, there is a lovely swimming pool and sitting area, and each room has it's own little terrace with table and chairs.
