Great hotel and friendly staff

Nice hotel and nice rooms, comfortable. Friendly staff speaking Italian. Big lobby. There is also an outdoor and an underground car park where we parked the bikes. Centrally located just minutes from various restaurants and 15 minutes from the center of lourdes, but everything turns well on foot

Maybe a good 3 stars...

Room NEAR the elevator so every movement rumbled and consequently no chance to rest....
Room without air conditioning nor refrigerator and handkerchiefs.(4 stars only on paper?)))).....
Lavish entrance and clean professional staff.

Hotel cancelled my reservation close to my reservation date which leaves me no choice but to stay in their related Hotel Eliseo suposedly under samecterms .However,, my booking for superior room with 1 queen and 1 single becomes just triple room with 3csingle beds and worst was a bathtub room. Room was changed on next day after i requested for walk in shower and was given a handicapped room . The toilet was sanitized with strong vinegar which was really unbearable. I would like to suggest that hotel should inform guests well in advance to enable the guest to make alternative booking.

Pension very nice, very well located compared to the sanctuary, clean and personal at the top

We have already stayed at this Pension twice (last year and this year. ) No unpleasant note to remember. Everything went well throughout the stay.at the restaurant, the staff and charming, one of the Ukrainian waitresses (Lorena?,) marked us a lot with her smile, kindness, availability, know-how, speed. we hope to see her again next year, but overall the staff is very friendly. The shop is well stocked maybe a little expensive compared to the many shops, towards the sanctuary, but very useful for last minute gifts because the choice is varied good quality items. We were well informed at the reception.
Small downside, because of course there are (very few, but there are) no fridge in the room. It didn't really bother us because it was October and it wasn't hot. But I think it must be problematic in the summer. When heat dominates. I really enjoyed the two mirrors in the room.. The rooms are very decent with two large mirrors, the functional bathroom. Pension very clean. And then the Pension is not far from the Lourdes Sanctuary. We can go back and forth several times in the day on foot. I highly recommend this Pension.
