Good budget hotel. WiFi is better than paid hotel WiFi than SIM! Worth a penny

We were with children and rested on the territory of all three hotels for a change of scenery. WiFi at the reception is very weak and the guides will sell you SIM cards, as they get their own % for them, and will keep silent about the paid hotel Internet. BUT paid WiFi Sunny Days is very good and costs a penny, coverage throughout the entire territory both on the beach and in the rooms. 5$ - 10 GB for a week or 10$ - 25GB for a week is enough, you can always top up without leaving the hotel, unlike SIM cards. There are unlimited plans to watch videos and streaming services. If the signal in your room is poor, come to the glass office of the WiFi provider, which is located in Palma on the 1st floor near the entrance to the lobby, and they will put either a router or a signal amplifier in your room for free and you will be happy.
I didn't like the disposable plastic cups for drinks in the restaurant. Thousands of glasses every day pollute the environment. Cleaning of the rooms is excellent. The beds are made from boards and are miserable. But the sea, coral reef and territory are excellent.

Average - don’t expect too much

Looking over previous reviews you would think you are about to enter a car crash but people really should understand that star ratings are half or even lower than what you would get in England… this is 4 stars on the website… England it would be 2 at most.
So with this in mind, this should set your expectations correctly.
The room… it’s basic and tired but they cleaned it every day. We did have an issue with the front door alarm and it took us 3 days to realise that when it goes off after opening it, just leave it for 30 seconds and it resets! The balcony door lock was non existent. Saying all this, the place was safe and we didn’t feel like we would be robbed! Tip of the day is give your housekeeper 100 Egyptian pounds £1.50ish) and he will look after the room. Same for the beach guy and porters. They will tell you what to eat, where to go.
The food - the buffet is average. The quality is what you would expect from a 2 star place. It’s edible but not great. You will find something to eat. The buffet in the Palms de Mirette was far better and we ate there more often than not.
The Russians (more on them later) don’t understand queue etiquette and just push in!
The roast chicken is probably the best food we got in there. It’s a shame they didn’t do more Egyptian food as what they did put out was good… I suppose the masses don’t want this so they don’t do a lot and just stick to western food offerings which they haven’t quite grasped how to make properly; saying that, the Russians seems to stock pile their plates??!!!
You get two free “a la cart” dining experiences if you stay 7+ days. These really aren’t worth it. We went to the four seasons grill restaurant and it was shockingly poor. The other was the Italian restaurant which was just as bad, so much that we walked out half way through the main course. They don’t explain how it works. There is a menu on the table. Eventually we worked out that those items with no price are part of the all inclusive deal.. the rest you do need to pay for. Fair to say,the food you pay for from what we saw coming out is where they focus on!!
Drinks- you can only have small plastic cups of wine in the buffet or restaurants. They don’t sell glasses of wine at the cocktail bars. Here they only sell it in bottles and charge. The beer and the spirits are weak but you end up ordering either as they are free! Best tip is buy some duty free gin etc on the way to Egypt!!
The beach and pool - these are good. Clean and tidy and the pool was slightly heated. The signs all say you are not allowed to reserve sun beds, however all the Russians (it’s over run with them) get up at 6 am and lay towels down everywhere. They block areas off in groups. They play their own music at high volume and don’t care about anyone else. You do end up getting up at 7am and going down to get some beds yourself.
December time, the sun and nice temperature to lie out is from 8am until 4pm. The sun is out longer than this but the temperature just drops.
The gym is good and well equipped but it has no A/C so you do get hot!
Outside the hotel are lots of shops, and food places so if you need to get out and eat, you can. We did just to get a decent coffee (it’s awful in the hotel). Just be mindful that every shop you walk past, you will be asked to have a look and they have “very good prices”!!
So, would we come to this hotel again? Probably not, as we have stayed at better in Hurghada, however it did work out to be roughly £21 per day per person to stay and eat here and get a sun tan, so it is cheap if that is what you are looking for. Put into perspective, a Travelodge is roughly £30 at its cheapest in the UK and that’s room only.

Nice, budget hotel

They put us in the main building, gave us a room with a huge bed – just like a royal box! Yes, of course, you can see it wasn't yesterday that the renovations were done, but the room is so cozy, clean, with a balcony that's gorgeous! The linen is snow white, the towels are fresh, crisp too. Except there were no slippers, so come on, let's get over it. Cleaned our place every day, but we usually asked not to be disturbed. They'd just leave us water, bottle to nose, and if we needed it, they'd put toiletries in. Anyway, I was pretty comfortable! There's no problem with the food! They just feed you for slaughter, you can't stay hungry! The choice is such that the eyes scatter. And for kids, by the way, there's a separate menu, which is very convenient. But with alcohol, it's tricky - they pour it into plastic cups, and so small, 100 grams, I guess. Well, bars are open on schedule: in restaurants from eleven in the morning to midnight, and on the beach - from eleven to five in the evening. So keep in mind, lovers of a drink or two! In the evening, of course, there is noble movement! The animation rattles so that until 11:00 p.m., you have your own disco in your room, especially if the windows overlook the yard. But you know, we raid so much in a day that by 9:00 p.m. we were knocking ourselves out like dead! But during the day, there's all sorts of fun, I went to yoga a couple of times - great! Relaxing after an outdoor activity. We were also thinking: "Let's get into history!" And took a tour of Cairo, not a big crowd, but a mini-group. Yes, it was a little more expensive than usual, but there were only eight of us, and the guide was paying attention to everyone, taking his time. And what's cool is they saved a lot on the road! So if you want to watch everything calmly and without fuss, take a mini-group, you won't regret it! This tour can be bought from the local company camitourcom you can easily find them by their name online. Hotel beach is cool. There are both shore calls and reef areas with fish. A nice, budget hotel in general!

Nice hotel

With the food, it was basically level. I'm not very choosy, but the choice was pleasing: fried, boiled, grilled, everything I like. Meat - beef, chicken, fish - is new every day. Vegetables, fruits, sweets – everything was plentiful, for all tastes. You're not going to stay hungry. But with dinners, it's a disaster! I don't know about other days, but when we were on vacation, the hotel was packed. And imagine this: 825 rooms, and all as one, by tonight, they're crammed into the restaurant. Why this evening? Well, in the morning, I see someone sleeping till lunch, someone lying on the beach. And in the evening, everyone's free like birds. And so, the restaurant doors open, and 15 minutes later, that's it, there are no tables available! People with plates in their hands dashing like unrepentant, looking for a place to stumble. Frankly, the spectacle is not for the faint of heart. The appetite immediately disappears, and the mood is below the baseboard. How can you do that? The hotel seems to be solid, and such a basic thing has not been thought through. That's a huge downside, of course, just huge. Our travel agency warned us it would happen but we didn't give it any weight. You shouldn't. But the Samitour_rf agency employees are good and the price of tours is cheap. They're easy to find on social media or Instagram. The hotel has two, or more specifically three beaches and a small pier with access to the reef. The grounds have slides and even a full water park which is to the side and can be reached through an underpass. The animation is pretty good overall. We also went on a field trip. To Cairo in a mini-group. We really liked the way things were organized. Just eight people and your guide. And they took a quick minibus. Took this tour we at the local company 1oneguide site search the Internet by name. Lots of different excursions and very good prices. And I also need to mention that the hotel is not new and the rooms are already old. There is nothing critical and everything is in line with the hotel price. Well, at least it seems to me. It's a pretty good hotel overall.

good budget quality four

We rested in this hotel from 20.08 to 29.08 with 2 adults and a child 12 years old.
We moved to this hotel from hell (to ZYA Regina Resort & Aqua Park Hurghada), thanks to our hotel guide from the tour operator FUN SUN Mustafa, to whom we are very grateful!
A friendly young man met us at the reception and asked us our room preferences and offered us a choice of a view of the lagoon or the sea. We chose the sea view. He gave us a card for room 6101, cards for towels and offered to go to the room. Gratitude at the reception is welcome and Alenka chocolate too! The porter took us to our room, which was located on the 2nd floor with a gorgeous view of the sea. The room had 2 single beds (which we were immediately warned about) and a folding bed. The room is not Euro, old furniture, TV, split and refrigerator worked properly, the bathroom was already tired, but the plumbing worked, there was always water (cold, hot), the toilet did not act up. The safe is free and working. And a fairly spacious balcony with a table and 2 chairs. So, we dropped our things and went to the restaurant, since it was already lunch time.
Nutrition:
You won't remain hungry. For breakfast: boiled eggs, omelet with cheese and vegetables, sausages, cheeses, vegetables, salads, a large selection of pastries, grilled vegetables, pancakes (pancakes) with jam, chocolate, millet porridge. For lunch: a couple of types of soups, French fries, chicken shawarma, beef (grilled meat), several types of cereals, fish. For dinner: spaghetti with vegetables in tomato sauce, several types of meat, fish, several types of side dishes, salads, vegetables, fruits, sweets (cakes, soufflé, baklava). But the menu does not change every day. The restaurant serves soft drinks (juices, water, cola, Sprite, Fanta) and beer, wine, gin, vodka, whiskey). All alcohol is local and bad. Beer is only good, bottled.
Beach:
The sea is everywhere here, the hotel is washed by the sea on three sides.
1. On the one hand, high tide before lunch, low tide after lunch. The sea is a very beautiful color, you can’t take your eyes off it, there are corals. After lunch, a lot of children swim with masks and look at the fish. On the same side there is a bar and bartender Ali, who always poured us cold beer with a smile, but in our 0.5 glasses (thermal mugs), and various soft drinks for the child. I advise you to take thermal mugs with you, as the volume is decent and keeps the cold for a long time. There is no queue at the bar, the guys work quickly.
2. on the other side is the Lagoon. We went to the lagoon after lunch. It's deep there and you can swim. There are 2 nets installed at the entrance to the lagoon from the open sea. It is much calmer to swim in the sea, knowing that these nets are there. There are bars on the right and left sides of the lagoon. Also nice guys, polite, smiling, I didn’t see any queues.
3. On the third side is the open sea, deep right away, entry from the stairs, we swam only a few times, as there was a red flag hanging there. There is a coral reef in this place, a lot of fish, we even saw a stone fish, it is very interesting to snorkel there.
There are a lot of sunbeds, there are always free ones, despite the fact that there are a lot of people. The beach area is constantly cleaned. There are enough rescuers.
Pool. There are always a lot of people at the pool, mostly locals, although there were not many of them. The bar serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, tea and coffee. In the evening, the excitement at the pool bar increases significantly, as animation programs take place. Bartender Yasha approaches the vacationers and asks what to bring them. He is a very sociable, good guy, always makes a joke, greets you with a smile, well done!
The lobby is spacious, it’s always fresh, there are soft sofas, and there are tables for guests on the second floor. There are also bars in the lobby on the first and second floors, which are open until 23 or 24 hours.
Animation: Animation events take place almost all day long. The first half of the day is sports entertainment, in the evening there is children's animation with dancing and evening show programs, several times there were competitions: women against men and Mr. Hotel. Animated positive guys, they come up and ask how your vacation is going, invite you to take part in programs, tell you what awaits you that evening.
The hotel offers two Alyakart restaurants. We chose Italian and fish. We were pleased with both restaurants. Everything is delicious! I didn’t want to run to the canteen later)))
Sunny days is represented by three hotels: SUNNY DAYS RESORT SPA & AQUA PARK 4*, Sunny Days Mirette, Sunny Days Palma. There is a water park in Palma, this hotel is located across the road, but there is an underground passage. You can use the territory, restaurants and bars of all hotels for free. We went to the water park once and didn’t want to go again. Our hotel in relation to the sea, as well as restaurants and bars, is much better.
There are many shops near the hotel, where prices do not differ from the prices at the Sheraton. You can buy a mask for $10, we bought tea for $1, Pepsi 2 liters - $2, corals - $3. Don’t charge a taxi to Sheraton for more than $2, this is the real price tag. We went several times, at first taxi drivers announced a price tag of $5. immediately offer 2 and that’s it.
A hotel for a relaxing holiday, a holiday with children, there is no movement here (for those who want to party, this is not the place).
Overall I liked the hotel.
I didn't like one person in the restaurant at the bar. Name Sameh. He is rude and says that cola is free. Wine pours the third part of a 150 gram glass and says if you want more, you have to pay. It's outrageous. I tried several times to find the gestrelation to complain, but it was never possible.
