Nice stay

Easter holiday to 5 stars in the north! A really nice visit, but unfortunately the bed crumbles a lot
The breakfast had a wide selection, which varied from day to day. Really nice staff, who also like to help surprise with a delicious bottle in the room.
Thank you to Nordlandet

Room inadequate quality

Thanks for a lovely stay. Your staff, the food and the terrible late summer weather made it a great experience. On the other hand, the room (14) was not at all of the quality you could expect. The room was too hot at night. The ventilator that had been set up had to overwork so much that it made an unbearable noise. When we instead opened the window we got Saturday night screams from young guests from the terrace below (they should be allowed to have fun, but we had the choice between listening to them or overheating).
The long side pad on the bench outside was wet when we arrived Friday and although we put it in to dry it was also wet Saturday and Sunday.

Not sure I would return here. The cook or the kitchen are not flexible or oriented to meet international clients

The place is charming. The staff pleasant and kind. We have unfortunately booked in for 5 nights. 2 nights is sufficient. The restaurant has a menu that’s the same since we arrived. On our third night we failed to get a reservation elsewhere and this hotel could not offer us a last minute reservation. Even as in house guests booked for 5 nights. Not even dinner in our room ! The food served is fairly good with one bad experience .

Too expensive

Second visit to the Nordland, where the first visit was clearly better. This time we stayed in one of the apartments with two teenagers. The space in their bedroom was crowded. The bed in the other bedroom was extremely soft with dull sloppy pillows.
The view was fantastic.
The breakfast was too expensive compared to what was given.
There were no bathrobes - something with that "laundry could not deliver this week", which was said without an excuse. This was absolutely absurd when you were in a bath hotel.
It was a nice stay in a great location, but all too expensive.

Top class in all ways

Our first visit to the hotel, where the 2 nights we had booked was a very good experience.
Service from all the people we had contact with, as the reception, Wonderbar, and those for both breakfast and dinner, exhibited top class. We felt very appreciated as guests.
Thank you to all staff.
Breakfast there was a sensible selection that tasted good. Oatmeal is not often I see in hotels, but delicious was it.
Toughened eggs can often be a little boring, but this one was both lovely creamy.
Good rug bread and a homemade nut cream that tasted great.
Dinner - where we chose ala-carte. Wow that was good. Ravioli with oak hole, immensely tasty, and cod and beef morrow for the main dish. I wish I could make such quality food myself.
The room we lived in (No. 3) or rather the apartment in the main building itself, was of high class.
A really good mini-vacation and will very much come back.
