Lovely stay in Split

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Rooms Base in September 2025. The location is perfect with lots of sightseeing and restaurants very close by. The owner is very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Great spot in middle of palace

I traveled solo & stayed for two nights in a room. Very clean, spacious and good location. The owner helped me find the location when I first arrived. He was very accommodating and would be reached on WhatsApp. Easy to walk to various sights and plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Can close the windows at night if you prefer it quiet.
Only thing to note: the owner accepts cash. The nearest ATM charged me almost $25 US in fees to withdraw. A local told me to look for ATMs that have the word “bank” in them and the fees are less.
Otherwise, great stay and would return again!

Nice room & location, but disapointed at the landlord…

Nice room & fantastic location.
Bad thing was that we got to pay for 4 instead of 3 nights!! The contact for the room refused to response when contacting about this and no refund has been done. :-(

Ideal location, fair price

You can't get any more central than this. Shares a wall with the Temple of Jupiter. Ivo the owner is very helpful. We stayed four nights and enjoyed it very much. It's in an alley right off the plaza of Diocletian's Palace.

Great room; best location

Fantastic, you are staying inside Roman ruins in the Diocletian palace. You can get up early and enjoy the surroundings before the crowds come. The room is quite and great. I would stay here every time I come.
