Dream vacation in Croatia

Travelling can be gambling. We booked our extended weekend in Split on the Web, not a clue what to expect and a bit worried until we saw our room. We had one of the best weekends ever, partly because of St Luke, partly because of the wonderful city of Split and the Croatian surroundings. The hotel was beyond our expectations. Wonderful room, extraordinary view of the ocean and a very friendly and service minded hotel staff. We slept well, had plenty of room and a great kitchen. Breakfast was served at a restaurant nearby, also a first rate arrangement. The only caveat I can consider is regarding the steep stairs and no lift. If you have no problem with that, don’t hesitate. St Luke is a great alternative. We will be back.
