Must read, never stay here and spread the word
Was woken up at 10:00 pm which my time zone was 2:00am on my third by a man standing at my bedside telling me I have to change rooms because I was supposed to have a single queen instead of 2 queens. Told me to gather stuff and move. No note was left earlier in day on door or under. There was a note left for check in to keep me in same room. Spoke to manage in morning, named Sandy and he was same person and had no sympathy and said it was my fault and I told him I would contact head office and he said. “Do whatever the hell you want” and hung up on me.
Original room was very dirty, screen ripped on window, looks like mice dripping under bed and tables.

Horrible Place to Stay
We stayed here both on our way to & from Calgary to Osoyoos. My bad, thought I had booked Sicamous! The entrance should have an automatic door opener, but no, put your luggage down and pull. There is no one at the desk to greet you, instead you pick up a phone which rings somewhere and a guy comes out. He asks to see photo ID and credit card. On our first night we were on the second floor, no elevator, dirty, stained carpet in the hallway. Opened our door to a blast of cold air. Cleaners had set the AC to 60!
I was opening my suitcase on the bed when I hit my foot on something. We looked and found a piece of heavy duty metal screwed into the floor! It had been hidden by the torn bed skirt. Oh, the box spring was on the floor, no bed frame. Mentioned this hazard upon leaving for dinner, but I bet it’s still there a week later.
Breakfast was yogurt, fruit, cereal, bread for toast, and juice, so not too bad.
I had booked same hotel on our way back to Calgary. Had requested first floor so we didn’t have to struggle our luggage up the stairs again. We are both in mid 70s with some mobility issues. Again the room was freezing..set at 58 degrees! Asked for a luggage trolley but they don’t have one. Turned on bathroom light. One very dim fluorescent bulb. Asked if they could change it so hubby had light to shave by. That wasn’t done and there is no plug for bathroom sink so shaving wasn’t done.
I shall wait to see if we are charged for a king room the second night as we only got a queen bed.
Unless you are desperate for a place to overnight, don’t stay here.

Scam Artists!
My visa was charged $375 without my authorization. When I asked why, I was told I broke a TV. I didn't even use the TV. I literally drove all day, spent the night there and slept, then left.
I happened to be staying there again on my way home (I booked it months in advance and didn't see the charge until after I checked in, so I didn't cancel/want to be charged a cancellation fee). When I saw the charge, I inquired at the front desk, they said they'd talk to their manager and get back to me.
The next morning I inquired again and that clerk said they'd talk to their manager and get back to me too.
I've still not heard anything from anyone.

Average place Nothing spcial but okay.
Place is convenient to stop overnight. Salmon Arm town is nice. Room was spacious, with low quality mattress (thought it did not trouble me). The reception is basically not attended, they have a phone connected to probably some one mobile to ask for service. Slow to respond both at time of check-in and check-out I have to wait a while before someone will come to reception to do the job.
Breakfast was basically just a slice and cup of coffee, compared to other economical places it was basically below average BF.
Still for price and convenience I would say it is okay for overnight stay.

We landed up with a private suite which was nice. However, the beds were very hard, and I found it long, dark hair in my clean towel as well when we went down for breakfast the tables were all dirty as was the counters, and there was nothing left to eat, except two pieces of bread and a bit of cereal.
