Caution

I do not recommend. The tap leaked under the sink, the drain so bad not connected and it ran on the floor. I reported it and they brought a bucket I could put under sink . I had to empty it constantly . No offer to move to a different room that was vacant as I already had pulled the sheets up.
My room was not clean. Cobwebs. The shower was dirty. There were bugs in the bathroom near the vanity. The fridge wasn't cleaned after the last guest. I was given 1 small towel only. There is not much customer service. Quite dirty outside and inside. The amenities listed are not supplied. No coffee pot, no pool. I read fined for no smoke alarms as well. Caution.

Worst hotel iv ever experienced

This place is a joke when we arrived buddy showed us a room that looks like a junky has had a month long bender in smell included we then got showed a “freshly renovated “ room with New beds the room didn’t look bad so against my better judgement stayed the night the shower had absolutely no water pressure it took me an hour to have a shower when you tell aj he just says he will tell the guy who fix’s stuff then I went to go to Bed I noticed my blankets had piss stains on them when I brought this up with aj he assured me it was fine cause they were washed with bleach when I refused to used them he then brought me another blanket it had numerous cigarette bern holes in it witch is funny cause this is a non smoking hotel as I sit here trying trying to figure out what I got my self into I grabbed a warm beer out of the fridge cause apparently my mini fridge crapped out absolutely worst hotel I have ever experienced this is out of a horror money

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE A FEMALE!!!!

I'd like to know how many females in Midland have a story about the manager at the Shamrock hotel asking them if they would like to make some money. Also telling them if they don't perform sexual favours they will be kicked out ,usually does this in the middle of the night when he know they have no where else to go. THIS NEEDS TO STOP!!!! The police don't seem to care much about it!! So what's it going to take someone getting raped before they decide to take action? he told me I had to leave or he will call the police for no reason but I was in his way . After knocking twice the manager used his key to enter her room. Unfortunately for him she doesn't play that game and cussed him out. To make a long story short the next day she was told all the room were booked and she needed to leave. This is disgusting, I have recording of him admitting he pays young women for sex but I want to post to protect the women's privacy. Please stand up and put a stop to this!!!! Do not stay here and support this hotel.

Good basic accommodation

An old school motel. Everything worked and the bed was comfy. The lady at the front desk was very nice. My room had an unexpected lake view and a nice patio
It’s obviously a family business with kids playing around and a playground
It’s close to a large Foodland store and anything else you might need

Friendly, responsive staff

We chose his hotel based on price and were not disappointed. The parking is convenient, just outside the detached building our room is in. The beds were very comfortable and the water was hot with great water pressure. The shower wall had cracked soap shelf and we were careful not to rub against it and cut ourselves. The linens smelled fresh and the soap was fragrant too. The internet was finicky getting started, but staff responded immediately and got us connected. Some of the electric receptacles were two—prong style, but I unplugged the a/c and plugged in my power strip to overcome that issue.
